I hope they can pull Belle’s time and Lacey into the story arc to maybe understand and support Rumple when he has to cope with/ going dark once he’s back in SB.
[adrotate group="5"]s. sanchezParticipantHaaaa! I didn’t put these two things together with guys liking her and girls not! Too funny. And thank you for pointing it out and for noting Rumple didn’t like her. 🙂 makes my heart smile
s. sanchezParticipantYes I think Pan is his undoing NOT Henry. Not so sure about the idea of Henry being the host, don’t know. But I’ve always wondered if Henry wasn’t too obvious a choice to be “the boy”. We shall see soon enough!
s. sanchezParticipantOhhh. I like that! Show how people can be a totally different person by just changing a few things they do or say or react. Nice thought, Kellen. And I like the term hiccup as well. Helps me not take it too seriously 😀
s. sanchezParticipantOK, well I won’t get bogged down with semantics (even though IMHO it was a plot device by the very definition to advance the plot …especially as it has explained that this storyline helped show the lows of Regina and rumple). But yes, I do hope its majorly discussed in S3. I guess that’s when we learn the potential of Lacey’s story and its effects on Belle. Thanks all, for weighing in 🙂
s. sanchezParticipantWow. Increasingly, I’m more impressed with the theories on this board than I am with some of the actual writing for the show. I think some people here my have a good career on their hands. 😉
s. sanchezParticipantI TRULY hope that Belle does SOMETHING either in actions or as a character by the time she meets up with Rumple again. Personally, I think Belle did show that she was more than a doormat with the men in her life….her father didn’t make her go with Rumple, she decided. She even walked away from Rumple in Storybrooke once she felt that he was trying to ‘control her life’. If anything, I would say that is the theme to her character, rejecting anyone or action that tries to control her. She’s a smart cookie.
s. sanchezParticipantI keep hearing people complain that the season seemed fractured, while I feel it was a long season once you really think back to all that was covered, I loved the arcs. This one storyline is the only one that makes me feel like they had intended to go one direction with the writing and then something changed in the writer’s room. I know their writer’s jobs aren’t easy but the downside to creating characters that people love is that you gotta do them justice and I’m so sad that they didn’t this time. And it really annoys me that Eddie and Adam keep saying they like Lacey–really?? They need to consult with Jane Espenson more because I don’t think the guys get what we dig about Rumbelle. Thanks for letting me rant!
s. sanchezParticipantThis is not my theory, someone else (can’t remember who) said maybe the shadow was sent by rumple to find his soon by gathering lost boys. Well to expand on that What if rumple instead had someone looking for the child of his undoing? Would explain why they had a drawing all the way back then when Bae was just a boy of Henry. And of why rumple knows peters no one you want to mess with….he knows him.
s. sanchezParticipantWouldn’t be awesome if we saw our kick butt Belle from EF find her way to Rumple in NL? The girls an adventuress, let’s show that side of her again!!!
