Welcome disneyana. You will see that this is the best ONCE website & forum anywhere.
I’m from Florida too, maybe you, TheWatcher and I can get together someday.[adrotate group="5"]Don't grow up. It's a trap.
sacrlcParticipantJust for kicks, here are mine:
1) PP and Rumple are brothers. Rumple’s father is described as dissatisfied, selfish and ruthless. Rumple desperately wanted his father’s love and attention, but his father considered him weak since Rumple was kind and loving (this is what Belle sees in him). All his father’s attention was on PP because PP was just like his father.
2) Rumple had a different birth name and his father renamed him Rumplestiltskin to make him “tougher”. His birth name is Mr. Gold’s first name.
3) The doll is Rumple’s childhood toy that was made to look like Rumple’s father. PP stole it from him and taunted him with it when Rumple was a boy.
4) After Rumple became the Dark One, he visited NL for the squid ink and had a run-in with his brother. PP and Rumple are in an uneasy truce.
5) Rumple and PP’s father discovered NL and set PP up as it’s keeper/ruler. Before PP arrived, NL was a happy place.
6) Henry is being sought by 2 entities – PP and another yet to be named. PP wants him killed to keep NL a dark place and the other wants to keep him alive to bring happiness back to NL. It was prophesized that Henry would restore the happiness. Can this also explain the different references for the “lost boys” and the “lost ones”?
7) Owen will be shocked to find his mother is a mermaid. Ariel left NL heartbroken about Eric and traveled the ocean to see how other people live. She met Kurt who loved her for who she is.
8) Tamara will be shocked to find that her parents are Marian and Lancelot. Marian, Robin Hood and Lancelot were in a love triangle. Robin Hood got Marian and Lancelot got banished.
9) Tamara’s viewpoint was influenced by Wendy – who told her that magic was bad like Bae said.

sacrlcParticipantis there some way I can delete the original yucky post?
Don't grow up. It's a trap.
sacrlcParticipantthere goes my font again. sheesh
Don't grow up. It's a trap.
sacrlcParticipantYes, the 70’s were known for drug usage, but the actual drug culture started way before that with the use of marijuana by the beatniks of the 50’s, morphing in the 60’s by the hippies with the rampant use of psychoactive mushrooms, psychedelics such as LSD and of course, marijuana. Then the 70’s rolled around and drug use became somewhat “glamorous” with the primary drugs of choice being LSD and cocaine.
was born in the early 50’s and witnessed everything from the 60’ forward. Fortunately, I was never interested in participating (which is probably why my brain didn’t turn into mush).

sacrlcParticipantFrom my understanding of “free spirit” is someone who does not follow conventional norms, bohemian, the original hippies from the 60’s, etc. Think of the movie Auntie Mame.

sacrlcParticipantI apologize about my earlier post. It’s very ugly and I don’t know how that happened. Guess I can’t write this in word and paste it to the forum.
Don't grow up. It's a trap.
sacrlcParticipantI know this is out there, but the first thing I thought while looking at Emma holding the sword was Uma Thurman holding the samurai sword in Kill Bill.
But then again…….
Don't grow up. It's a trap.
sacrlcParticipantI agree with the need for the preview. The only other thing I miss is the link that pulls up your own posts. Made it a whole lot easier to check on the replies.
I type too slow, I tend to edit and reword not to mention check the spelling, which has the hazard of someone posting while I’m composing my missive. One thing I have problems is using the html. I don’t really know how to use it so I don’t. I’m afraid to try without the preview. I guess basically, I like the point and click features for my fat fingers.

sacrlcParticipantI meant PotC. Can’t spell today. sheesh.
