Could be? I mean.. the scene itself is SwanFire… that’s what everyone is freaking out about. Not that this means they’re getting back together. But talking about their feelings.. he’s confessing that every single day he regrets walking away. So yes. This Is a swanfire scene 🙂 even if she jumps straight onto Hook’s arms after this scene, I mean… its still a Swanfire scene! 🙂
Bring on the angst! 🙂I know it’s a Swanfire scene. I feel people are perceiving it as “Swanfire has won” moment.
[adrotate group="5"]sam993ParticipantIt could be Swanfire or…this moment could allow Emma to move on from Neal and hook up with Hook. You never know. 😉
sam993ParticipantIt is sweet that he let Emma go so she can go back home, but that “he thought the door was close” that’s what bothers me the most. He didn’t fight for that love. He didn’t watch over her. He wasn’t loyal to her. If you have true love you stand by it. Yes, he gave her up because he loves her, but why did he move on when he knows that Emma is still alive and still able. You stand by who you meant to be regardless of what they are or where they came from. You wait. True love is worth waiting for. He didn’t.
sam993ParticipantDoes anyone know what episode he’s going to be in?
sam993ParticipantSo, the thing i want to understand about this ship is why would people want Emma to go back to Neal in the first place? I just want to understand better why. I despise this couple so much, not because I’m a Captain Swan ship (I wouldn’t mind seeing her with Anton), but because Neal is soo inconstant. He has that Romeo complex. He says he would be loyal to Emma, but then finds someone else. Does Emma really want someone like that? She would want someone that she can trust to always love her. Neal fell in love twice. Why would anyone want a man like that? Hook, on the other hand, stays loyal to one woman even after her death. True, he has been a pig, but at least he’s been constantly a pig and constantly loyal to one woman. You can rely on him. Neal says he’ll do something, but goes back on his word and betrays the love he had for Emma. Would Emma want someone she can always rely on being true to his character or someone who switches. Again, I don’t want to bash this ship. I just want to understand better. I hate Neal so much too.
sam993ParticipantHas anyone seen any recent pictures of Colin on set? I haven't seen any! Upsetting really. I don't know if he's going to appear on 2×16 either!

True, Snow and Charming’s relationship is exemplary couple for the show. And it may be the love that everyone on the show wishes to strive for (Like Gold wanted to as he hinted in The Croc episode).
Yes, again, good point. I think both Hook and Emma would have to change. Hook becoming a hero and not an anti-hero and Emma being more open and accepting her role as the savior. It sort of reminds me of Jack and Kate’s relationship. Jack being Emma and Kate being Hook. Jack, in the end, had accept that destiny was involved and Kate needed to let go of her troublesome past. I think the writers wanted to make both Hook and Emma’s characters sooo complex because they wanted to develop them more as seasons progress. Snow and Charming is just what every couple on the show wants to strive to be. In my opinion, their character development is done.

I like hugs and drinks. 😉
And his cheeky self is why everyone loves him so much. Colin really is an amazing Hook.

Oh I agree. With Belle, it was just him using her to get back at Rumpelstiltskin. He was a bit in her personal space and he did sort of use his physical appeal in a way, but not in the way that he normally does with Emma. The way he was with her was more threatening than flirty.
He sort of bested Emma and Belle I guess…with Belle is was him erasing her memories I guess. With Emma it is a bit harder–yeah he sided back with Cora after she left him, but then she knocked him out cold. 🙂
I will admit that I do like there scenes togehter–I don’t ship them, but I am interested in how they both talk to one another. The actors have a great way of being able to show both wariness and some form of common ground.
They’re trying not to reveal too much of themselves when they’re talking, right? Like they’re afraid to show their true selves. That’s why Emma is trying to shrug everything off.
Join the ship! It’s more complex than Snow and Charming.

Also, I seriously cannot help but find Captain Hook pretty easy to beat. Emma and Belle have both bested him numerous times. And most of time when he flirts with women, they looked more bored and unimpressed with him. And now with him beaten up and chained, it just makes him not much of a threat, except with how he managed to erase Belle’s memories.
I was thinking the same thing too, but Hook bested Emma and Belle too and I think he was trying to turn Rumple truly evil so Belle would leave him. That’s my take on it.
I do love Hook and Emma together. And have the most pity for both of them. They both had such a hard life.
I hope Hook continues to flirt with Emma because that’s the only way I think he can express his emotions to her. He can’t outwardly tell her how he feels. He has his own walls, I believe. Like Roger Sterling in Mad Man. He’s interesting. Notice how Hook wasn’t flirting with Belle, in my opinion, she was just business and hurting her was his only solution.
I really can’t wait for this episode. I feel it in my bones we find out the true character in each and every one of them.
sam993ParticipantHook was interesting in tonight episode. I think he didn’t defend himself when Rumple kept on hitting him is because that’s how he could feel again. He’s been bottled up for so long that having someone hit him, in a way, damaged a barrier (like Emma’s walls) that prevented him from feeling the emotions he felt when he was with Milah. The thought of Rumple killing him gave him hope. Hope for the same happiness he once felt with Milah. Hook was at his weakest in this episode. He’s slowly breaking.
