Everyone else got a SB name, so it stands to reason that Belle did too, and for 28 years, she thought her name was Lacey, (if this theory about the ep being about her ends up being true). Without her memories of being Belle, she’s back to thinking she’s Lacey again.

Oh, that kind of makes sense. I guess we won’t know unless Belle says that when she was staying in the asylum she thought her name was “Lacey”. But that does make sense! 😀

This Belle theory has me jumping up and down from excitement! But from all the points I have seen both here and on Tumblr, I’m torn equally between the “Her” and Belle theories. I just have one thing to say:
Why would Belle change her name to Lacey? Wouldn’t that just make everything confusing? Everybody calls her Belle already! Even if she doesn’t remember, she would still probably at least keep her name the same! :geek:

Amen to that! Besides, we’re all talking about how Rumpel would react – what about Regina? Wouldn’t she probably go ballistic after finding out the jerk who helped ruin her life is her father? 😯

There’s also the possibility that she’s wearing a strapless dress in that photo, although all of these theories seem equally plausible. 😀 And if you’ve ever worn a strapless dress, you’ll know that you look naked if you only see a head shot. Just sayin’. *is probably wrong* 😎
