I have a feeling that the hat will never have enough magic in it in order for Rumple’s plan to play out. The Apprentice mentioned to
Rumple that he’d never be able to collect enough power to do what he wants to do. I wonder if the hat is designed to be infinite. It would be intersting to see if the Book has pages post dark curse like the stories that have occurred in SB, stories of NL, Zelena & the missing year in EF. The Book doesn’t appear to be getting any thicker though.
The alternate page was probably just placed in Robin’s satchel by magic (plot device).

Maybe it depends on the situation right before one’s heart is removed. May also depend if removing one’s heart was done willingly or by force. For Cora I wonder if she meant that she couldn’t fully love her daughter. She loved Regina just not unconditionally. Cora hadn’t had Regina yet when she removed her own heart so she didn’t know what it was like to love Regina with her heart. For Graham, he had the effects of the dark curse, plus his false memories, and his situation right before Regina took his heart wasn’t great. He was a bit numb to start off with towards humans. It made him a great huntsman, For Regina, she had feelings for Robin, just wouldn’t admit them before she removed her own, plus Regina’s soul was brought up a bit & it was self inflicted. For Will, he wanted to be numb to remove the heartbreak, so maybe the way Cora removed it allowed Will to become numb, like Regina wanted to be in EF during the missing year.
I agree that Hook was over compensating. He knows what it feels like to love Emma & wants to desperately keep & embrace those feelings vs becoming numb, plus he has to hide the fact he now doesn’t have a heart. Emma is in his head as well as his heart.

408- So Belle just leaves the library unattended where anyone can walk in? How does she keep track of what books are taken and who has them? Since when do libraries stay open until 10pm?
Maybe the books all have magical tracking devises so if one isn’t turned in on time, Belle could track it down to get it back. Or maybe since SB is a small town, Belle trusts the town folk enough that they would check out books & return them timely using the “honors system”. After all she basically knows all the “baddies” in town. Or with Rumple as her husband, whom folks are afraid of, they just know there would be consequences if a book was lost or stolen. Course that didn’t stop Will.

I think the book just writes itself as part of the Dark Curse to make sure that was eventually shown to Emma so she would break the curse and help those in the book find their happy endings.
I think there is more to Henry’s heart. I bet he has magic or at least a super power. It just hasn’t surfaced yet. Kinda like Harry Potter.

- What was so special about the cave/dungeon cell that it was powerful enough to lock up the Dark One?
– How did Cinderella trick Rump into thinking she had twins? I know he knew it was all a lie but I vaguely recall she used some kind of thing to make it seem as if their was two heartbeats rght? Or perhaps that was from another movie
The cave was in the dwarf mines if I remember so maybe with the veins of diamonds or fairy dust it immobilized Rumple’s magic.
Ella just mention she was having twins then Rumple put his hands on her belly. He then asked Ella where she got the lovely quill so yeah, he knew the whole time.

Why wasn’t Rumple affected by the Snow Queen’ s mirror in the last episode the way Belle was?
I figured it wouldn’t effect him since he is the Dark One. He looked right into it when Snow Queen was in the room and nothing happened and Snow Queen aldo looked into and nothing seemed to happen to her. Maybe those who embrace their dark side aren’t effected by it.
I agree. Either that or Rumple isn’t letting on what he’s seeing. Are there different levels to the dark side? Or maybe those who embrace the dark side see the opposite in the mirror.

I think Rumple wants to simply leave SB to explore what our world has to offer in terms of magic & resources. Greg & Tamara’s goal was to rid our world of magic and we’ve met The Dragon. Perhaps Rumple wants to seek out these pockets of magic to add to his power. He’s a collector of magical objects. Apparently he has explored the FTL world extensively. If he can figure out how to keep his powers & memories when crossing the town line, our world has endless possibilities for him.
Or maybe he just wants to move out of SB for a change of scenery. I still get a kick out of A & E’s response to the SDCC interview involving 2 lies & 1 truth and they mentioned Rumple moving to San Franscico. :o)

Maybe Rumple will go after the Sorcerer him/herself. Maybe the Sorcerer created the hat and created the fact that the DO needs to remind attached to the dagger to keep him/her powers in check.

I think her family & Killian will help Emma control her magic. She just needs to listen to them and not the crap DQ is telling her.
