I wish we had seen more of Hook’s introduction to the modern world and interaction with other charaters (mainly Emma, of course). I know Colin’s leg threw a wrench into things but I feel pretty short-changed from a lot of untapped opportunity.

Thanks for that, Kat. If people don’t like the swooning, they can just stop reading the thread. I mean, if the thread title does not say what the content will be, I don’t know what will.
I think it’s great that he is so appreciative of his fans and is willing to take pictures with them. All the pics seem very sweet! He did tweet to his fans beforehand saying he’d hope to see some of them in Monte Carlo 🙂

There was one Latina who defended it and said it wasn’t racist…until she decided she lost respect for the actor and said it was a misogynistic thing instead. *sigh* He was asked about both, he knows nothing, he still implied that Hook is more inclined to go after Emma but admits he just doesn’t know. Poor thing can’t catch a break!
People are SERIOUSLY twisting it out of control if they think that that statement meant any of those things. He agreed that what was suggested to him is a possibility and then said who knows. If Lana had said that about Regina people would be cheering. It’s disgusting how far off the rails people have gone.
You’re exactly right. that is just terrible, and it’s awful how unkind, blind and self-serving some people can be sometimes. The only thing I can imagine is that something must be missing from their lives if their passions, feelings, and happiness have such dependence on the future of a fictional relationship. That’s very sad.

Nice to see he’s doing appearances! Hope he gets a lot of nice questions from actual FANS. I’m so sick of seeing his most recent comment twisted 100 ways to Sunday, I want to throw dictionaries at people. If Adam has to address all of this and make a big deal out of it (and goodness knows he’s had to do that sometimes with stuff on the show…) I can only imagine how that will go. I mean really, how is that comment any of those awful things??
What kinds of things have the “rabid” fans been saying/doing? Sounds like some impassioned people may be taking their “ships” way too seriously. Colin is a great actor, and more of him next season is worth getting excited about. CS would be a plus, but I don’t take that so seriously that I’d foam at the mouth about it.

On a separate note, William Keck from TV Guide teased a Once exclusive on Monday. There’s no hints it could be about Swan, but hopefully, maybe there’s a little something in there to tie us over during the summer hiatus. 😀

Do we know if it’s related to the TVLine Article where Colin is talking about love interests for Hook in season 3? I was really excited when I read that article this morning. It doesn’t promise CS, but does make me excited about more Colin/Hook we can look forward to.

This promises more Colin in season 3 which is good enough, but also hints at love interests for Hook. I’m sure Captain Swan would have to have a part in that.
This is so exciting! It’s a real shot in the arm to hold over for the rest of the hiatus.
