“On the heels of British beauty Emma Rigby (the UK’s Hollyoaks, inset) being cast as the Red Queen in the four-scene “presentation” [see glossary], TVLine has learned that Barbara Hershey‘s Cora might also serve as a royal pain – if ABC picks up the limited series to bridge Once’s winter 2013-14 hiatus. (Official talks with Hershey likely won’t take place unless the pilot moves forward.)”
Is it me or the bolded sentence suggests they’re planning to postpone new episodes of Once season 3 after the winter finale until March and use this big hiatus to show the proposed ‘Once Upon a Time in Wonderland’ should it get approved?
I know hiatuses frustrate fans, but if they can tie these two series’ together, this might not be a bad idea. It’s a good way to keep fan interest active and tuned in, while they have the freedom to iron out the details they need for their other project to flow freely. Then there’s the curiosity aspect about the new series. That’s a good opportunity for them to really make a big deal of Wonderland as they bring it in.
That might actually work to their favor.

I saw that on tumblr. 😀 Makes me so excited for the finale.
Me, too! Oh, I hope we get a lot of Captian Hook in season 3!!! I’m a 37 year old fangirl! I’m supposed to be too old for this…..but I can’t help it!!! 😆
sarah_tnParticipantHey, Captain Swan featured in a write-up today about tv couples at Entertainment Weekly! Very cool http://www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20685436_20686782,00.html#21301027

I don’t think we’ll see Vancity around much longer. I don’t think anybody would want to let them on set, if they were goihg to do things like that. If I knew that’s the kind of thing to expect from them, I don’t think I would if it were my decision.
The photos are taken in public areas. Those involved with the show cannot legally ban VCF (or anyone else) from being in those areas during filming. Even if the powers that be don’t really want them around, they can’t actually prevent them from being there. VCF won’t be going away any time soon.
Well, maybe Vancity will apologize and clean up it’s act. I hope they want to be respected as an information source. They can’t be respected at all, if they’re not going to be respectful. I mean they could have criticized JMO and Ginny in a much kinder, more tactful, and thus more productive way than stooping to name calling. I am so disappointed.
sarah_tnParticipant@obisgirl wrote:
I read in a fan encounter the reason JMO doesn’t meet with fans is because she had a bad experience once.
Maybe. She can’t put that person’s face on everybody though. The truth is, there are some crazy people in this world but thank goodness, more sane ones than not (at least I hope so).
sarah_tnParticipantYes, and I can see them saying for example: JMO should show more appreciation for the people whose appreciation for her helped attain the success she enjoys”, versus calling her (or anybody else) names, or just using cheap tactics like school children.
That was way over the line. Very unprofessional. I just can’t believe that they did that; that after all their hard work, they would sabotage their reputation and credibility in that way! That’s a real shame and for it, I don’t think we’ll see Vancity around much longer. I don’t think anybody would want to let them on set, if they were goihg to do things like that. If I knew that’s the kind of thing to expect from them, I don’t think I would if it were my decision.

I mean, they said they had seen friendlier dog turds than JMo and GG because they weren’t “fan friendly.” That’s an actual tweet from last night.
….😯 😮
So this wasn’t innocent well stated criticism. Oh my, that was not smart!!!!!
Well, this makes more sense then. If they’re the type to do something like that, then I’d say the actors already knew that. No wonder they didn’t want to come out. I wouldn’t come out for jerks like that, either!
Thanks for the info on Vancity. I thought they were a bigger publication than that.

Based on the Tweets from VC, it seems that it’s because certain actors don’t come out to greet the fans. And VC is very open to bashing them for that. The problem I have with that is that they make sure they @ each of the actors. If you’re upset that an actor didn’t come out to greet you (which they are under no obligation to do, BTW) don’t go on Twitter and send all these tweets with the actors @names.
Thank you RumpelsGirl. If the actors have a tight schedule due to filming, seriously, that is NO reason to bash the actors.
Well, like I said, if this isn’t for any good reason, then some heads need to roll because this can put the respect (and privaleges) they enjoy in jeopardy.
But again, call me naieve, but I can’t see somebody like them doing something like that irresponsibly. They’ve earned a name for themselves. They’re not going to want to endanger that. I think they have more sense than to throw all of their hard work away in that manner.
sarah_tnParticipant@obisgirl wrote:
I understand that Sarah. All I’m saying is that I think it’s unprofessional.
Oh I agree, I just give Vancity more credit for their reputation. I mean, they’ve earned a name for themselves and so I can’t see an entity like that doing something like that for no good reason.
If it’s not for any good reason, then heads need to roll because otherwise the respect Vancity enjoys might be short lived.
What kinds of things have they said?
sarah_tnParticipantYou sound like you know what you’re talking about. What I’m saying, is that we don’t know what they’re talking about or why, because they’re there and we’re not. We don’t know these people. They probably see them very often, if not every day. I don’t think a public site with the reputation of Vancity would do something like that, if they didn’t believe that it was for a good reason.
In other words: We’re not qualified to criticize them if we can’t walk in their shoes.
