Ummm… I’m lost for words. Emma Rapunzel? 😮
The creators have already said that Emma doesn’t and won’t have another FTL identity.
Hmmm…I don’t know. They can’t straight out say, yes she will – that would be a massive spoiler. I’ll see how this plays out and then I’ll judge.
Well, people have compared the Hook/Emma relationship to “Tangled” (and love it)!

Hi, everybody. You’ve seen me post here a lot, but I’ve come to a difficult decision today. I’m leaving the board, and not because of it, but because of the show.
Captain Hook got me watching Once Upon A Time again. I really didn’t care much about it, and then I got interested again after “The Crocodile”.
I thought this was going to be something really great. I was expecting some really good drama, and I was expecting they’d found a good character they can reboot. I was fascinated by what I was watching, but now I’m just sick to my stomach.
They’ve got the same core of people on OUAT which I can appreciate, but it’s not enough. I’m sick and tired of the same old whines about “the main characters”. In the TV Line interview everybody’s talking about, Neal was mentioned in comments a grand total of 41 times. Hook was mentioned over 90!!! Even if all the conversation he sparks isn’t positive, he does get people talking, and I don’t think the show’s producers can see what is staring them right in the face! Hook should be a main character, and attracts interest to the show. In return for that, he is under-utilized and basically just turned into a side-show. He’s barely ever even on screen! I don’t think I can expect any good story telling about him, any drama, or anything. Heck, there’s really not much even being said about him. That bit from Jennifer Morrison’s TV Line interview was just more of the same she’d said last time she talked about Hook. She really didn’t have anything new to say. What I’m trying to say, is that there is nothing for me to get excited about, anymore!!!
For that reason, I’m done. Bye, everybody. I’ll check back from time-to-time. If things improve, I might be back someday. Until the writers can get their act together though, I’m done. I don’t owe Once Upon A Time anything. There are other shows on television, and so I’m not posting anymore, and I’m not watching anymore either.
Adios, Amigos!
We’ll miss you, Bee. Hook’s why I watch the show too, and so I’ve been on the fence, but I’m not ready to leave yet. I want to stick around and see how things play out. I’m an incurable optimist, and I just feel like the writers have something up their sleeves that we can get excited about. Give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s not over, yet.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Love it. It’s so accurate. I get the feeling Hook won’t be around OUaT past the midway point of season 3. They’ve really reduced his character.
You would think for a cunning pirate he wouldn’t be unconscious so much…
I hope that’s not the case. My post is supposed to cast a little bit of humor on something I don’t like. I’m using humor to highlight that between Wyle E Coyote and Flook, the way they are writing Hook has turned into a joke.
I’m disappointed as of yet too, but after reading the TV Line article, I’m feeing a little better. I’m still hoping they do more with Hook. The potential this character has is so big, and there’s so much room for them to do so much with his story, and so much that story can do with him in Storybrooke! I have to be honest. Captian Hook is my favorite character, but much as I like Colin O’Donoghue, if I think this is going to go nowhere….well, let’s just say that in my house, for right now, Once Upon A Time is on parole.
You were right about the 5-minutes in every episode thing. That’s something I really don’t like, either. I don’t understand why he hasn’t gotten much screen time, and much as I look forward to tomorrow’s episode, I kind of think it’ll probably be more of the same.

Thank you so much steliokontos1 and Sarah_TN! I was getting really frustrated. Be prepared for many CS pics guys 😀
Glad we could help! 😀

I thought I’d show you guys this. Someone had pointed out that when Emma was leaving Hook on the beanstalk she had a tear in her eye. At first I thought it was probably just the camera, but if you look closely it does look like a tear.
This pic isn’t mine. It was made by this lovely person http://emmaknightleyvectress.tumblr.com/
Wow!!! I never noticed that before!

You girls just like the position that he is in 😆 Say, isn’t the rule that if it’s on the floor for 5 secondsor more, don’t eat it?
*should not have watched Ravenous last night…*
😆 Ah, the old five second rule. This is the five minute Flook though, so we’ve got a little bit more leeway. 😉
😆 😆 😆
even though it only applies to food, I’d still pick him up either way 😆😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆

I’d happily take Hook on the floor any day. Flook FTW! 😉
Seriously though…
@RumplesGirl wrote:He is very much the Wile E Coyote of OUaT right now. I think once we get past Cora’s story and probably start exploring Neverland (probably in season 3) they’ll stop making him so comical and let him be Captain Hook for real
One of the reasons I’m hoping Nealfire was in Neverland is because it could provide us with a great ongoing storyline where Hook would be a central character, instead of just being tossed around on the sidelines. I’d love to see NealfirePan and Hook having a complex relationship in Neverland, but not hating each other, I’d like it if Hook had played sort of a father figure role to him. That would make the present day situation of Hook vs Rumple and Nealfire stuck in the middle ripe for confusion and angst from all three of them, and would give Colin some juicy material to sink his acting chops into.
I’d also love it if they made Ariel a Neverland resident, (as some have speculated, considering there’s a Mermaid Lagoon there), and tied Hook into her story somehow. I’m already totally shipping those two in my head, even though we have no indication that they ever met. 😆 Anyway, regardless of who it ends up being with, I want the guy to find love again with someone, which would also give him a meatier storyline than what he has now.
Father figure…..If any of that sums up to fans getting to keep a present-day Hook, then I like it!

Sarah_TN – How do you post pictures? I’ve been trying to do that but it wont let me.
Sorry, I just saw your question. Yes, just go to the internet, find an image, click on it, copy the URL, paste it into the message, higlight it, and click Img. That way, you can post an image. Hope that helps! 😀
sarah_tnParticipantOh, this is how I feel today!
My message to the writers:
sarah_tnParticipantFans of Hook surely like the interview. I don’t think the article gives any definites about relationship plans, but I definitely like it looks like Hook will factor in to the story for a while longer (hopefully, a lot longer).
