and he still has his cute little hobble, poor puppy 😆what’s that? Hook’s facing maleficent? who else did that I wonder
ohh right, EMMA 😆Just wondering though, did I miss him saying how he got away from maleficent? How did that happen?
[adrotate group="5"]sarah_tnParticipantOkay, now what do we think? Do we Captainswan’ers get excited tonight, or hold our breath in hopeful anticipation! 😆

To Price of Magic: Hook doesn’t have to forget her, but I see it parallel to the story of Superman. His first love was Lana Lang, but when he became more than just “Clark Kent” he found Lois Lane who loved him for more than being the boy next door (at least in some versions of that story). Milah loved Killian Jones, the pirate. Emma could fall in love with the man as he is now, after living so many years in Neverland and all he has been through. He’d be a different person (but still sassy). So well said, and so true! I love that!!! You’re absolutely right.

Hi everyone!
Finally joining this forum after not being able to contain my eagerness to talk about the show any longer… especially with the end of season 2 coming up. I’m from England and hope to one day be a published writer, I love fairy tale retellings, so you can see why I love this show, and in fact I’m writing my very own novel based on fairy tales at the moment so the show is good to watch for inspiration! I love Regina, evil queen Regina, storybrooke Regina, young Regina… all of them lol
Hope to speak to all soon! xxWelcome! 😀

I have taken loads of film editing classes and have been properly trained in the field but to then be dismissed just because according to someone I saw the scene with CS shipper in me.
No I don’t watch the show looking for every knick and cranny that may be for my couple I just watch the show and I have taken loads of classes and know what to look to when it comes to camera angles, editing, etc.
The whole Neal/Emma preamble to Hook’s return connecting basically that Emma needs Hook and it was the least subtle thing in the world. On top of that they did it earlier on in the episode when Regina said that if Bae can’t do it then there is nothing that can save Rumple’s humanity than we cut to a scene of Belle. That’s intentional editing and it’s done on purpose.
It’s not because I may be a CS shipper, no one should be judged on that preference. I’m more than just a CS shipper.
Hookian, I’m confused- to what are you referring to?
As far as I can see, no one has dismissed you on this thread…or did this happen in another thread? 😕 😕 😕Other thread, I was dismissed by 3 ST shippers. Which is kind of telling in and of itself.
What does ST stand for? Surely, it’s not Swan/Tiny! If so, I just can’t see it.
sarah_tnParticipantI’m getting excited, now! 😀

Sarah, I think that was a throw away line. But, each time she’s met Hook he hasn’t exactly been a gentleman. First he promises to free her then beats her and almost kills her and the second time he threatens with a gun. And then proceeds to shoot her later. So she may not have a good opinion of him. But I really do think it was a throw away line.
Maybe it is a throwaway line…still got my attention, though. 😀

I do like Gold he is witted at times. 😆
Hmmm, interesting. Belle said Hook’s heart was rotten. Was she speaking out of anger, or did she already know him? They’d met once before, but that’s hardly getting to “know” somebody.

I wouldn’t compare Colin O’Donoghue to Michael Jackson.
For one thing, Colin has never been accused of anything untoward towards minors.
The poster was talking about quality talent and content. I got the point. Michael Jackson’s music is what he’ll be remembered for. I would have never thought of that other stuff if somebody hadn’t brought it up. Eeew.
Instead of Michael Jackson, let’s say Elvis…but then somebody might bring up stuff off-topic about him, too. I think I’ll stick to the point intended,: Unique, and exciting. I agree with that.

I think in S3 they are going to be showing a different side to Hook. Right now, he is deemed a “villain” so some people don’t like him. Most people didn’t like Rumpel until his backstory was shown. People might change their tune about Hook.
I don’t like when people want to say things on this thread that they know will rile up people who ship CaptainSwan. Can we just refrain from doing that to any ship threads? Everyone is entitled to opinions, I get that. If you say your opinion in a respectful way, I think it would be more welcomed.
I too hope so. I really would like to see how Killian became a pirate & how he came to have such a strong moral code (for a pirate)…. I kind of wonder what happened to have him become this anti-hero type pirate, rather than a pirate like hero. The guy has all the qualities of a hero personality- bravery (he isn’t afraid to for fight or die for what he wants & believes in), honesty (he hasn’t lied so far), morals (he wont kill for the sake of simply killing, it always has a purpose & doesn’t take pleasure from others pain- Rumple aside) etc I sometimes wonder if Charming himself would be very different from Killian if he turned dark 😉
I also think it’s what attracts Emma to him in some ways- he is very hero like, the capacity for ‘good guy’ is there, but also has these dark shades, so he’s not too perfect- if that makes sense 😕 😉I also think a lot of Hook hate comes from the fact it is Rumple he’s out to get- they love Rumple, Belle & Bae, so anyone who challenges those characters is ‘bad’ for them.
Well said, and exactly! I think that’s exactly where the Hook hate comes from. The take Once Upon A Time has on this version of Captain Hook is absolutely ingenious! He’s so complex, so deep, and the room that they have to use him is something I’ve often compared to leggo blocks. He’s a great leggo block with lots of points for other things to attach to and build from off of. I hope we have Captain Hook around not only in season 3, but for the remainder of the show. His character is that good, and I think he’s that big a compliment to the show. Like I’ve said before, Cinnamon toast is called “Cinnamon toast”, not “Cinnamon and Sugar toast”. It’d taste pretty rotten without the sugar, though. Same thing with Captain Hook. It’s not he Hook show, but without him, it’s kind of bland.
