A good friend and I have been discussing Neal for a week now. Although I thought Neal was Aladdin, my friend reminded me that there could be no way that Neal would be Aladdin, Peter Pan or any FT character as they were cursed to stay within Storybrooke or in FT Land. Neal was outside of both realms. It is very possible that Neal is Baelfire, but it is also quite possible that he could just be a….I guess you could say….Mortal. Also the poster of the Dylan character is off. It may be him, but it may just be a coincidence.
[adrotate group="5"]sariebelleParticipantI’m sorry for posting this all over the stinkin’ place but I’m just proud of my little girl for catching this all on her own! I was watching it for the millionth time with my 7 year old and she shouted out “Mommy he looks like Aladdin!” Then it hit me….Aladdin was a thief. He was a very cunning man, a slick talker (remember in the Disney movie how Aladdin pretended that Jasmine was his mentally unstable sister to protect her from being throwin in jail…..like Neal did with Emma?) Aladdin was an orphan but his Father later returned (Baelfire/Rumple?) Could the Tallahassee scene be their “whole new world?”. I wonder if what August had in the box was a magic lamp. Just a thought. All from the mind of a 7 year old girl!

I can’t remember where I saw it, but I heard some blond guy was to portray Peter Pan. I will look to see where it is. I just happened to be watching the episode with my 7 year old daughter who happens to be a big fan just as I am. While watching it, she sees Neal and shouts, “Mommy he looks like Aladdin!” Then it hit me. She could be right. Aladdin was a thief with a heart of Gold (like Neal), he was a slick talker (remember in the Disney movie how Aladdin pretended that Jasmine was his mentally unstable sister….like Neal pretended Emma was girlfriend unable to drive a stick?) Aladdin was an orphan, but his Father returned later (hmm….Baelfire/Rumple?). What if what August showed Neal was in fact a Magic Lamp? Could the Tallahassee thing be their ‘whole new world’? Just a thought…..that came from the mind of a 7 year old girl!

sariebelleParticipantI am probably going way out on a limb here but have any of you considered that he could be Robin Hood? I will say that I do feel he probably is Baelfire, but the stealing aspect (even though it wasn’t exactly from the rich to give to the poor) made me think of Robin Hood. Just a thought.
