My detailed thoughts (I posted these in another forum I just found):
1. Something about Snow? I’m not sure about this one.
2. To me this sounds like a pair of good characters, not so much Hook. Emma or one of the charmings trying to convince a fellow hero to not kill, but the other person is worried that the would be victim (Regina?) will kill them. It could also be like Emma to rumple, judging by the sassy reply, but she’s kinda late on that one if that’s the case.
6. This one was one of the most interesting to me. At first I was thinking present day and struggling, but now I’m thinking, like i said above, what if it’s rumple to Cora? Way back when obviously, ancient history, but the fans would still be mad.Weve been told we’ll feel sad for rumple in this episode. I’d be very interested to hear what people have to say on this one, cause I can’t think of any Storybrooke options and I’m quite curious.
7. Didn’t Barbara Bennett write about a very moving Rumbelle scene where they arent actually in the same room? Would they be talking on the phone? I’m trying to piece how their interaction works into the episode together. Maybe she remembers and calls him that instant. Or maybe Cora and Regina kidnap Belle to insure/save their plan and Rumple is talking to her over the phone like a proof of life thing? The latters my best guess.
10. What do we think happens to give Robert Carlyle such great material? It could be heartbreak in the flashbacks, if he really did care for Cora. But now it’s gotten me worried about Belle, Bae, and Henry, and if they might be in danger.

What it way back when he fell in love with Cora and told her he loved her, but it turned out she was playing him? Rumbelle fans would not be pleased, after all. I’d be very interested to hear what people have to say on this one, cause I can’t think of any Storybrooke options and I’m quite curious.

I can’t wait for this ep!It’s just so random. There’s a fully functional public airport in Portland, Maine; it has restaurants and stores and many terminals! It’s not some tiny small town operation! As a Mainer I sit around picking apart all the flaws in the uses of Maine on Once and Haven. I know it doesn’t matter but I find it so funny and get so OCD about it. Is this how people in NYC and LA and more common setting locations always feel :)?
Once is a great deal more accurate than Haven, though, so I’ll let it slide and call it Mr Gold’s lack of knowledge about the outside world.Why on earth would you drive past Portland international airport to Boston and then bother to take a plane to New York?

Except, am I imagining the sexual tension between them? Not so much in present day, but in the flashbacks? Like, the massive heaping amount of sexual tension? Think about their interactions when they meet for the very first time. He is totally coming onto her in We Are Both. Even if he didnt know, still super ewwww. Like others have said, maybe on an FX drama that’d be a crazy twist, but Once upon a time is a very benign show. Maybe I’m misinterpreting their actions in those scenes? Do you guys see it?I read a theory that the car will push Hook over the town line. What if it’s his memories, not Belles, that we should worry about? It would make sense from a storytelling point of view. How else are Rumple and Hook going to peacefully coexist now that the conflict has come to a violent head? And we know Colin Odonague is sticking around, sothey must somehow coexist. I hope it doesn’t happen though. I don’t want Hook to become less hook.

So I would guess from this that Hook shoots Belle but is struck by the car while Rumple is still panicking over her, explaining while he would be already on the ground, making it easy to cover her. Then Ethan Embry comes into town in the car and hits him before he can do anything else.
I wonder if he meant to shoot Belle or if she jumped in front of the bullet meant for Rumple?There’s a shot of Hook in the library in the US promo. And we know Belle winds up with him on the pirate ship. Maybe he kidnaps her as bait to lure Rumple to the ship, but Rumple beats him. Then he comes back shortly after at the town line.
I got the impression that maybe 2 different events were referenced in the conversation. Maybe the
Millers daughter happened when Regina was young and was a more magic heavy showdown than the origin story name guessing version. Maybe Cora tried to overthrow him. It sounds like she may have temporarily overpowered him, taken the dagger or something, but he beat her, hence the “that’s not how she tells it” “I won *in the end*!” comments. Plus, if rumple and Cora fought in the same fight in which Regina saw the body, Cora wouldn’t have been able to tell the story of the fight. Then, later, some time after she pushed her mother through the looking glass, something happened between Cora and Regina and she thought Cora died.Another thought: Is it possible Regina never saw a body and may have even known Cora was alive but didn’t want to admit she was physically or emotionally too weak to kill Cora and lied to Rumple? That would explain why she appears to know the queen of hearts well in hat trick. She knows it’s her mother. I don’t think this is true, but it’s not unrealistic. She wouldn’t want to be seen as not magically powerful or be judged if she couldn’t bring herself to kill Cora (I actually think this wouldn’t be unrealistic even after all Cora did; it’s not uncommon for those who are abused to still want to impress or look up to their abusers, and she’s obviously scared of Cora).

How close Hook gets to Belle is going to depend on how honest Rumple is with her about why Hook wants revenge on him.
