Thanks! I hadn’t seen this. It sounds really interesting, because they’re
mashing up the 2 stories and making them their own. The show is at its best when it changes things up and puts its own spin on things. Its why Id take Red Handed over Price of Gold any day. Their Cinderella story was pretty classic with some rumple thrown in, but red handed really mixed things up.It seems likely that the evil spirit ties in with the present day in some capacity, so maybe its by way of their disappearance. This seems like a kind of irrelevant plot to include in the season opener if it doesn’t. Ill be a little dissapointed if they focus the big season premiere on new characters too much and take time away for the ones I already love, but I totally trust the writers to do a good job and know what they’re doing. Maybe not all this happens in the premiere?
Should be a good episode, either way[adrotate group="5"]scaredcrow65Participant@PriceofMagic wrote:

And when i say love interest, i mean as in Hook being interested in Belle not that it would be reciprocated. And that is just an idea. I don’t really know if that is the case.
It’s been speculated that Hook stole Rumple’s first wife so it would make sense if he then went after Belle as well. What if Hook arranged for Smee to “kidnap” Belle then “disturbs” the kidnapping attempt in order to make himself appear to be Belle’s knight in shining armour. Rumple would be suspicious of Hook and not trust him and Belle would think Rumple is just being overprotective.
Ooo that would interesting!

^I think you're right. And with all the new behind the scene photos of Mr. Gold, Charming, Red and Maurice working together, it looks like everyone is uniting to fight against Hook.
Where are the pics with red and maurice? Interesting
scaredcrow65ParticipantOo I do like this idea! Maybe next year we can even see some of our characters journey there, if they can leave now. That’d be a nice change.
I would say, as a real life Mainer, that like someone said earlier, Boston is the closest major metropolitan area to Maine. When we want to go to a concert or see a pro sports team, we go to Boston. So it wouldn’t be unusual for Mainers in Storybrooke to want to use it as a hub of sorts.
But that still doesn’t explain a lot and I’m definetly interested in this theory. What are the chances of Emma living there and all these things being referenced there?scaredcrow65ParticipantOk, so we know that the stories had to get out of FTL at some point. What if Bae was like a Grimm brothers esque character, and possibly wrote the book? Obviously he didn’t know most of them when he left; they hadn’t happened. But maybe well discover that his knowledge of the two worlds somehow put him in a position learn about them. My theories pretty thin, I know, but it’d just be cool if Bae was connected.

They did this on Buffy the Vampire slayer. The group was always going to this club having drinks.
I remember that :)! I vaguely recall one line about the bouncers being super lenient or something, but yah.
I tend to agree with the people saying that Storybrooke just has a different drinking age since it’s not a real town. I don’t know if Rumple designed ever detail of the town, or Regina did, or the details just kinda fell into place randomly, but no matter what, there probably wasnt much concern over matching the drinking age with that of the surrounding world that residents couldn’t even leave town to visit. The scene just struck me as a bit odd haha. But I dont think Mary Margret’s really the type to go to a bar with someone drinking illegally, so I guess storybrookes drinking age is lower.scaredcrow65Participant@LisaFromOH wrote:
Underage characters drink in tv shows all the time. I just figured that was what was going on.
That’s true. I just found this one a little wierd because they weren’t at someone’s house; they were at a bar. They didn’t seem to be concerned, it seemed perfectly normal that a teenager had purchased and was drinking a martini in public.

David Anders (Dr. Whale) played Julian Sark on Alias. He was a recurring character, but not a regular. Kind of like he is in OUaT, actually.
He also played John Gilbert, Elena’s uncle (who turned out to be her biological father), on the Vampire Diaries. He was a pretty mysterious character and not the nicest guy most of the time.
Jennifer Morrison played Zoey, one of Ted’s love interests, on How I Met Your Mother for an arc. The character was actually pretty unpopular 🙁
Josh Dallas was also the guy with the mustache in Thor. It’s pretty funny actually, he’s this over the top scrawny Viking, and I laughed really hard when I rewatched it and realized it was him.
scaredcrow65ParticipantI don’t think he did anything to Belle. Maybe he wasn’t the most valiant father, not trying to rescue her, but I don’t think violence was in his nature. He seems pretty nice and meek. I would say the evil queen did all of it, and that she already had Belle when she went to talk to Rumple.
scaredcrow65ParticipantIt’s really wierd! I mean, even if George was distracted and didnt bother, charming should have shown at least the slightest bit of concern over what George might do. I mean, they were talking about his mothers ring, just not about her.
