It seems like if her pilot had been picked up, they really would have been in trouble. Realistically, Rumple is going to want to be around her a lot, and obviously he’s not going anywhere, so it really would have been pretty hard to explain absenses.

Although I prefer Skin Deep as an episode, I think I would have picked the return for Robert Carlyle. But skin deep is an amazing choice too! Good choice for Lana, although it doesn’t show the distinctions she makes between her two evil character to keep them the same but different, which I think is one of the strongest parts of her performance. I would have picked the thing you love most.

I didn’t think of them as brother and sister, but it’s an interesting idea. If they were brother and sister, though, you’d think grace being her niece might have come up. Obviously not in an actually loving aunt sort of way, but a uninterested “how is my niece?” seems likely instead of just calling her “your daughter” whenever she mentions him to jefferson.

After her first scene with him in Hat Trick when he initially turned down the job in his cabin, I definetly speculated that they’d a some of sort of relationship years earlier, and I still believe that to be the case. I don’t think you guys are reading to much into it!
