What if Gold/Rumple was warming up to Henry because his connection to the Savior raised suspicion that Henry would lead Gold to Bae through Emma?
I’m thinking along the lines of of keep your friends close & your enemies closer.
We already know he’s worked with both Cora & Regina. He hasn’t made an attempt to harm Henry in the past because he hadn’t been reunited with Bae yet. He needed him around in case he was/is the boy.
Now he knows who Henry is & his link to Bae & Emma. TLK to Henry under the sleeping curse may not have been needed to break the Storybrooke curse but the love magic was what undid it. Gold stole it. He had no concern for whether or not Henry would wake up.The undoing Gold may need to beware of:
1. Regina’s desire to have Henry to herself.
2. Gold’s desire to keep his powers at any cost. ( He already showed did this with Bae)
3. Gold’s own fear of what his undoing is. Leading to Gold harming Henry & undoing any possible healing between him & Bae.

Hmm, what gets me is the “beware” that doesn’t typically equal a good outcome. I agree that “ubdoingc could mean many things but beware seems ominous of a bad one.

I’m thinking Hook is going to get betrayed. I agree Regina would be a more interesting twist.
I suspect Henry will have foresight or a predition about him that puts his future in danger.

So I kind of dig the crazy multiple personality disorder Jekyll/Hyde theory. I haven’t sold myself on it just yet though. I can’t really say who I am thinking right now.
I have to say though Once upon a Mattress Winifred is fantastic. I’d love that type of Princess & the Pea. Also peas make me think of the bean stalk.
