schmackyParticipant
There’s so much stuff going on in this episode I’m slightly nervous that it’s all going to go too fast.
This show really loves to plow through plot and breakthroughs without pausing for character moments.
However, this makes me feel better and I’m really excited about it:
“Jennifer Morrison will get the possibility of really stretching her acting skills more than ever before”
Because… I’ve been waiting for this moment forever. How is she going to react? It could so totally go all sorts of ways. But no matter what, it’s going to be dramatic and emotional and I am so looking forward to that.
[adrotate group="5"]schmackyParticipantVideo on Snow and Regina. Their story is quite sad.
schmackyParticipantI always figured David was his real name.
I loved the whole scene. It didn’t matter to David at all. Grumpy kept asking and he was like “meh, it ain’t no big thing.” And I loved how Grumpy was like “WHO ARE YOU!? WHAT?! I’m SO CONFUSED!” and they made it look like Snow knew everything all along (and of course she did, she’s his wife… I just remember some people thinking Snow didn’t know about everything).
schmackyParticipantI was thinking if that scene was after the curse was broken, maybe that is why he never left NY. “Fate” ran right into him. If they set her up as his girlfriend or a pursuer of some kind, it would add to the drama and tension between him and Emma.
schmackyParticipantFour more days until the promo!!!!
schmackyParticipantIt would have been nice to see that scene, for sure, but I don’t think it was necessary. Like you said, he’s so raw when he says it, I think it really drove home how much they meant to one another and that they honestly did promise to take care of each other. It was these two against the world. That’s what made it so heartbreaking for me.
That whole bit where Neal is like “2 years?! Where were you the rest of her life!?” You can just see it in his face and hear it in his voice how much he loves Emma and how pissed off he is on her behalf that she’s been alone until he entered her life. Love it.
schmackyParticipantI don’t think the hotel scene was their first time. Far from it. I got the feeling like they’d been together a few months. Living in a car. Making out right outside the convient store they stole from… it just gave me a vibe that they’ve been together (in every sense of the word) for awhile now. They’ve been taking care of each other, been physical, yet the hotel scene was really when they really became emotionally involved. It’s one thing to pile in a car together and have sex, it’s another to decide to live your life with someone. And that’s what they were deciding in the hotel room. A very big moment for them both. As the next scene in the park where they tell each other they love one another for the first time.
Anyway, to folks who think Neal isn’t the father that’s just.. weird. Who else would it be? She was with Neal and then was in prison so… it’s just silly.
schmackyParticipantI think it makes Mihla Emma’s Aunt, not great grandmother, or is it?
If Bae is Neal then Milah and Rumple have no relation to Emma at all. If Neal and Emma had married, Milah and Rump would just be Emma’s in-laws. Not aunt, not grandmother, no. Father and mother in law. If they had married. But they didn’t.
If Neal is Bae, then Rump and Milah are just the parents of the guy Emma slept with.

Some of those things are obvious nods like the theme song, 138, and r242. The rest? Who knows, maybe you’re onto something. One thing I know for sure though:
his charger that Emma plugs into the phone has a huge star on it
That wasn’t a charger. That was actually Emma’s keychain and that was her hacking tool or whatever. She used it in the pilot as well on Henry’s computer.
schmackyParticipantThat’s not necessarily true because there are people of today, now, here, in our world, that believe in magic. Or believe in the possibility of it. Just because he didn’t instantly be skeptical about it doesn’t mean he’s not an actual outsider.
