Someone else pointed it out on tumblr that Emma also wore a skirt in episode 21 when she went to Regina’s.
[adrotate group="5"]I can’t imagine them shooting that scene to show for a second in a promo. I’m betting it’s part of the episode… my guess that’s how the Charming clan scenes open.
It does seem like this could be a flash-back. The bar is in Canada and we know Neal was going to go to Canada.

They’ve used the bar before in the pilot. Just because the real name of the bar is Blarney Stone doesn’t mean they’ll make that be the name of it in the show. Just as Storybrooke is called Storybrooke instead of Steveston.

Ehh, I think out of everyone we’ve met so far he’s the least effected by it. He was never cursed, he wasn’t ripped from his loved one. I mean, he was ripped from Emma because of it… but he also met Emma because of it.
So yeah he was effected by the curse through Emma. But, I wouldn’t say he is one of the most effected by it.
I thought anybody who leaves Storybrooke looses their memory. How would she be excluded from that?
Uh, because she was never cursed. They made it quite clear that Emma can come and go into Storybrooke anytime without any problems. Her and August left Storybrooke in The Stranger. She has no fake memories to lose. She was never cursed.
Oh yeah, I can imagine Emma just being so pissed that what she had with Neal may have not been real but also pissed off that she’s pissed off. In her mind, he may have betrayed her and screwed her over and hurt her more than any other person has… but what she felt for him was real and what they had she thought was real and even though she might hate his guts now she still knows that was the one time in her life she was truly happy.
And then to find out that it could have all been yet another manipulation due to her damn destiny? She’ll be pissed. But, she’ll be pissed that she’s pissed because she knows she shouldn’t still care about that old dead relationship. But she does. Because it has a special place in her heart. And it’s being threatened. The one time she ever felt love like that… and it might not even be real? How sad.
Emma’s dated a few “ogres” remember? So I’m sure since Neal she’s dated some sketchy guys in one way or another. I don’t think the married man she mentioned is Ryan. That was a fake date. She was on the job. She had no emotional investment with that guy. And the way she mentioned it to Mary Margaret, it seems like there was some hurt involved with the married man.
Emma also mentioned she doesn’t go pass a one night stand. But, that’s 28 year old Emma. I don’t think Neal was the last actual relationship Emma had. Probably the last guy she ever loved. But, I’m sure she dated guys, had boyfriends, and they all went to crap for one reason or another. And so within the course of 10 years she ends up being the type of girl to just… be the one night stand type. So I’m sure somewhere along the way, she got involved with a married man. Maybe more than one (at different times). No reason to assume it was Neal.
I have a feeling this will be taking place during the present. His hair is the same as it was in the season premiere instead of Tallahassee. They both don't have their “young” look so…
If Neal really is Bae.. well, no matter who Bae is… I hope for the very longest time he doesn’t forgive Rump. And it wouldn’t just be about deserting him and breaking the deal… but everything he’s done in order to find him. I mean, go on seasons without him being forgiven. Or Bae dies and never forgives him. Maybe. He doesn’t really deserve it. IMO.
