Sci-Fi GirlParticipant
^ Do you mean … gay?
So, new episode tonight and I haven’t even commented on last week’s! 😮
But first, here’s a link to an interesting comment about Leviathan, from a discussion on the first episode. The poster is very knowledgable about comics, and is always a good source of information and historical details. 🙂
Some details about leviathan’s origins in the comics. The show could still do something different, but this explanation would make plenty of sense so far. 🙂

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantMost certainly don’t get any vibes from her and Jarvis, they are work partners, maybe will be friends, but no romance material there IMO. I find them as friends way more interesting than any kind of romantical development could be.
I don’t like Peggy and Jarvis as a couple either…Jarvis is married! I am never a fan of breaking up a happy marriage for a new fling.
Oh, definitely not. Jarvis’ complete devotion to his wife is one of his most wonderful qualities! 😀
I do like them as friends though. 😎

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantSpeaking of grandfathers, I just watched Avengers again, and I had forgotten that Enver Gjokaj had a cameo there! In the battle of NYC, he is one of the cops on the street. He says a line about the National Guard being an hour away, and his partner responds:
“An hour? Does the army know what’s happening here?!?”
Gjokaj: “Do WE?”So, what do you think, Sousa’s grandson as NYC cop?

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantRandom thought I didn’t mention before:
The blond guy who does the interrogations, Thomas? Thompson? (I’ve been calling him “Mr Personality”, LOL!) Anyway, the strange thing about him, is that he kind of reminds me of Ward! 😮 Both in the way he looks, and the way he acts, particularly when he is interrogating. I noticed it during the first interrogation, and again during the second (very different) one. And now I can’t get it out of my head!
And once again, he could be Ward’s grandfather, LOL! 😆

Sci-Fi GirlParticipant^ I had forgoten about the knife and the truck, but I think I had assumed last week that he fell off right before it went over the edge, and that he escaped. But in this episode they said they were “still pulling what’s left of him from the truck wreckage”.
So unless there was someone else stashed in the truck when it went over, and those remains were from someone else and unidentifiable? That seems really unlikely, but they did only get his picture and fingerprints from the passports and other things that he left in his room, which they found when they checked out the key that he dropped.
Although, there really shouldn’t be anything left of the truck wreckage, but whatever. 🙄

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantJarvis is my hero. Awesome backstory. 😎
I am waffling so bad about Sousa. First I thought he was the perfect guy, and ‘shipped’ him with Peggy. Then I thought he was a mole. Now I think he might just be the perfect guy again! I’m probably just reading way too much into things. I do that a lot, but I thought with this show it might be valid. But maybe not! 😀
When the other guy said to him “No girl is going to trade a red white and blue shield for an aluminum crutch”, I wanted to scream at the hurt on his face! 😡 I think Peggy likes a man who is good, kind, and noble. Not super-strength. And I’m guessing that’s not just me.

And I was confused by the ending. Was that Leviathan watching the place, and that did the shooting? I am assuming that it was Leviathan, and I have no idea who else it could be, but the scene did not make it entirely clear.
And remember, Leviathan is only after one specific (unknown) piece of tech, and as of last week they were still looking for it. So if that was Leviathan at the end there, then they found the stuff before Peggy did. That means they already got what they were after, and left everything else for the SSR. And without comparing what was recovered to a full list of what was stolen, there is no way to know what is still missing.
Peggy needs to get a list from Stark (or Jarvis) of exactly what was stolen.
Also, it seems that typewriter guy was actually killed, which they didn’t make clear last week.

On a random note, I think it’s kind of funny that Jarvis’ wife is only an unseen voice off screen. 😆

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantI’ve got a couple more “who would win” questions, but only if someone else here watches Supernatural. What do you say?

So no supernatural fans? I’m gonna post this anyway, because it’s funny!

Who would win: Rumple vs Crowley?
Here we have THE DARK ONE VS a demon who is THE KING OF HELL! They are both several hundred years old, both accumulate whatever power they can, and both are master manipulators! Both are really funny, masters of snark, and both occasionally work with the heroes against another villain when it benefits all. And both had a short joke thrown at them by a woman, in a December episode! 😆
And most importantly, they both manipulate people and accumulate power by making deals! 😮
Crowley is, by origin, a “crossroads demon”. And as such he has made countless deals (of the sort where a person sells their soul to hell). He is one of the best at this, knowing human nature, and how best to manipulate people.
Oh, and he was even abandoned as a child. His mother (a witch) recently showed up, and he complained about some of the things she did before she abandoned him:
She tried to sell me for three pigs. Three pigs! I was an attractive child, I could juggle, I was worth five pigs at least!.
😆

Here are a few clips of his funniest scenes. I’ll set them up.
Supernatural did an OZ episode (my favorite telling of OZ). Crowley just happens to be chained up in the heroes’ basement, and The Wicked Witch wanders in, minus her tongue: (this clip sets up the next one)

A few minutes later: (language warning)

ROTFLMAO!!!
And here is what happens when he finds his minions have betrayed him to his enemy (a rival for control of hell).
This is a very … tortured sentence: 😛

I don’t know who would win, but I think it would be hilarious to see Rumple and Crowley face off, don’t you?

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantI watched Agent Carter again last night. Partly because it is just too much fun, and I don’t want the fun to stop. But I also thought I might pick up a few more clues to the things we have been theorizing about.

First, all the music is just so great! 😎
OK, one thing seemed very suspicious, that I didn’t notice the first time. The voiceless guy with the typewriter knew exactly who Peggy was. He first saw her undercover at the club, and then he knew where to find her at home, even though she is not on the lease. Then he reports her to his bosses as “SSR Agent Carter”. Not even her roommate knew she was an agent, her cover is at the phone company! But he knew exactly who she was on sight. The only way I can think of for him to know that, is if he had seen photos of all the SSR agents. Which means there HAS to be a mole in the department. 🙁
Speaking of moles, and this may be unrelated, because if Daniel is a mole we don’t really know for who. I’m afraid I think Daniel must be a mole of some kind. He seems very smart, and pays attention to everything. He seems to follow Peggy around a lot, and didn’t find (or at least reveal) her picture. (Ok, that last one could just be because he likes her.)
But when they showed him reading the racing journal, and circling things, it seemed randomly out of character, and they focused on it. He normally seems very dedicated to work, working through the night on the manhunt etc. So why was he reading a racing journal while he was supposed to be working? He was certainly not about to go to the track in the middle of work! They are in the middle of a manhunt, and when he gets called to the basement it’s “Oh, I guess I’m going to miss the race”? No. He wasn’t going to a race.
I noticed this the first time too, but I dismissed it because I didn’t really suspect him of anything. But now I am certain that someone is sending coded instructions to him, published in the racing journal!!! 😮

Here’s something else that I knew, but it only sank in the second time. Of all the Stark technology on the loose, Leviathan only wants one particular piece. And they are still after it, but we don’t know which piece! It’s hard trying to be the first one to find something if you don’t know what it is, or why they want it.
Also, I wondered the first time if Stark knew something about Leviathon, and had secretly let his technology get out in order to draw them out and find them. The flaw in that theory, is Stark wouldn’t have wanted all those dangerous materials on the loose. But then I remembered, only ONE thing was supposed to get stolen, not all of them! Leet Brannis betrayed his employers and stole all the goods, in order to freelance and sell them himself.
To take that farther, there is one more possibility. Gaultheria, you mentioned that Leviathan may actually be an anti HYDRA organization. What if Leviathon was created by Stark for that purpose? What if Stark has in fact discovered that HYDRA still exists, but knows he can’t say so without getting killed? What if the only way to fight them is to create another secret organization, that appears villainous, in order to keep the real objective hidden? Remember, only one piece of tech was supposed to go walking, not all of them. How did Leviathan even know about the vault and it’s contents? (Though that competing CEO sure knew a lot. )
I don’t actually like this theory too much, nor do I think it is very likely. Particularly because of how brutal the “nameless” guy was, and the kind of orders he got. But I thought of it, so I wanted to put it out there. *shrug*
(Oh yeah, and a face pushed towards the flame burner. Almost as bad as the power saw. 😮 )

Some other things I liked:
Peggy’s routine at the milk plant was too funny, LOL! 😆 And I could barely recognize her!
And favorite line: “A penguin could get here faster!” 😆 (Conjuring persistent images of furiously waddling penguins. 😉 )
