Sci-Fi GirlParticipant
I found this one quite moving, and the ending nearly made me cry.
I’m not quite sure how to classify it though, character and ship wise. I guess it’s mostly CS, but also Killian / Milah. (What’s their ship name?). Plus definite Nealfire nostalgia.
It’s an interesting approach. It involves time travel, and the primary interaction is between Emma and Milah.
It’s very … sweet isn’t quite the right word, but I’m not sure what word I’m looking for. Touching maybe. Here it is:

And, you are so completely right about those lyrics coming from Ingrid! I hadn’t seen the complete lyrics as fitting any one character, but since you pointed it out, I do completely see it as Ingrid’s POV. 😎
And now, looking at it again knowing what we have learned of Ingrid’s past, with Helga, it seems even more perfect. And sad. 🙁
Like this verse, is when she is most afraid of hurting her sisters. Keeping her distance, watching the ball from afar, etc.
There’s a fever burning deep in my bones
Even when I’m with you
I’m on my ownAnd the lines about the lighthouse and the bandaid, that is the three sisters protecting and supporting each other, before things went wrong. 🙁
Though I still see some of the other fragmented meanings that I had noticed before.
This pair of verses for example:
There’s a darkness to my shadow on the wall
Every time I try to stand
That’s when I fallThere’s a fever burning deep in my bones
Even when I’m with you
I’m on my ownThe first makes me think of both Rumple and Regina, telling of their seperate struggles with their darker tendencies. Every time they try to be better people, or to make better lives for themselves, they get knocked down again.
And with that second verse, I think of Rumple. He loves Belle, but he cannot shake his yearning for power. And that makes him feel alone, because it is a selfish desire that he cannot escape.
And then this verse:
Forget what I have done
Sometimes I’ve lost you
Sometimes I’ve wonJust let me do
Everything I can
‘Cause everything I do is for youThis speaks to the stories of several different couples: Snowing, Rumbelle, and maybe even Swanfire. Any of the devoted couples on the show, who’s stories involve repeatedly losing and finding each other again. 🙂 It seems to be a common thread on the show, doesn’t it?

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantI love how most of the twitter responses to that last one aren’t even language, LOL!

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantThat’s a really interesting theory, and I like the idea of only one land without magic, and that different parallel worlds go to the same one.
But then I wonder, where did the other dark curse send the people from the alternate enchanted forest? Why weren’t they sent to the same world as Lily?
I could say something went wrong, but there can’t be multiple storybrooks all in the same place.
Ohh, what if there is another town like storybrook, somewhere else in the word?!? With all the alternate FTL people? 😮

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantList #2
Well, I guess once I make one list, it’s easier to make a second, LOL!
And it’s weird that I have to come up with all kinds of reasons for the women, because I really have to think about it. With the guys, I already know who I like! 😉
Guys
Bed: Peter. He’s just too cute! 😀
Wed: Neal
Behead: King George
Gals
Bed: Nova / Astrid. She’s adorkable, and Amy Acker rocks. 😎
Wed: I had trouble again here. I almost said Snow as sort of a default, because I ship Snowing. But then I realized, Mulan! She is awesome! 😀 I’m surprised no-one has her on their list! 😮
Behead: Tamara 👿

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantI’m finally here! 🙂
Took me so long to answer this, because I had a heck of a time picking the women’s list. It’s just not how I’m used to thinking, but I finally picked some. 🙂
Guys:
Bed: Hook (thud)
Wed: Charming (needs no explanation)
Behead: Pan (he was just too nasty)
Gals:
Bed: Ruby
Wed: Belle. This one took me forever to decide. But I guess Belle, because we are both bookworms. 😎
Behead: Glinda. I know this is unconventional, but she drove me up the wall. 😆 I think it was how she was written, but she kept making idiotic decisions because of PLOT. She made NO sense at all. Finally I decided that no-one could be THAT stupid, so she must be doing it on purpose, controling everything as part of some nefarious scheme. (Worse than sneaky fairy, IMO.) But, that didn’t happen and so, stupid and annoying for no reason! :p
Read my original rants, starting here. It’s hilarious to go back and read them now! 😆

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantSo I meant to answer some of these questions, but I started to come up with too much to say, and then it started to feel like work, LOL! I will probably still post various thoughts, but in the meantime … my thoughts on shipping:
I have noticed there is a bit of a … split, among members of this community. Some of you may have noticed that I have already posted in both of the shipping threads in question.
So here’s the thing. I like both ships! Is that a rare position to take here? (Honestly, asking.)
Because really, what I dislike, is romantic triangles in general. I would say it is because it’s annoying to have to choose, but that is really not it. I don’t have to choose. (I am perfectly happy liking two fictional characters, LOL!) The problem is the show has to choose, and the character has to choose. And that means that someone is guaranteed to get hurt.
Now sometimes I only like one of the choices, and that is fine, but: It means there is a 50% chance that someone I like, is going to get hurt. (Actually, the chances are higher than that, as characters often seem to choose the one that I don’t like.) (And I could rant about that too, but that might need another thread. 😉 )
But sometimes I like both guys. (Yes, I’m just talking about guys right now.) And more guys to like is more guys to like. But what does that mean? It means there is 100% chance of someone I like getting hurt! That is why triangles are so annoying.
So yes, I like both Neal and Hook. For different reasons, of course. I personally adore Hook. But Emma and Neal are family, and when they are together, just, awwwww. So as much as I like Hook, I hate what they did to Neal! This is the worst way to resolve a triangle, they took the easy way out and it feels like a cheat. Because no-one chose, the show completely gets around even having to decide who is right for each other. They just got rid of one, and the other sort of … happened automatically? By killing Neal, Hook wins by default, not because Emma chose him! And that is just not fair to anyone. Not to Emma, not to Hook, and obviously not to Neal.
So that is where I stand, LOL. In general, I prefer fandom love to fandom war. 😆
