If you want an extra dose of Capaldi, have you seen the Paddington movie from 2014? I saw it last year, not when it first came out, and we were delighted to find Peter Capaldi playing a side character! He was hilarious! 😆 His bizarre failed attempts to woo Nicole Kidman were too funny!
This is his idea of a tempting date invitation:
Him: And after, I wondered if you’d like to celebrate by dining with me.
I have some meat-paste sandwiches and pickles.
Her: Sounds glorious.
Him: They went off on Tuesday but you’re normally alright for a week.

Ok, I’ve parsed this quote from the transcript of The Sound of Drums
MASTER: Back home. Where is it, Doctor?
DOCTOR: Gone.
MASTER: How can Gallifrey be gone?
DOCTOR: It burnt.
MASTER: And the Time Lords?
DOCTOR: Dead. And the Daleks, more or less. What happened to you?
MASTER: The Time Lords only resurrected me because they knew I’d be the perfect warrior for a Time War. I was there when the Dalek Emperor took control of the Cruciform. I saw it. I ran. I ran so far. Made myself human so they would never find me, because I was so scared.
DOCTOR: I know.
MASTER: All of them? But not you, which must mean
DOCTOR: I was the only one who could end it. And I tried. I did. I tried everything.
That gives a pretty specific origin for Yana, and I think it pretty much rules out that theory, sorry. Whatever comes next, I don’t think it’s that.

^ I always thought he was hiding from the time war. The Doctor fought, the Master ran and hid.
At least that’s how I interpreted it at the time. Given that the time war ended up very differently than we (and the Doctor) thought it did, there could very well be more to the story of how the Master ended up as Yana! 😯

Oh, and one more thing: at the end of this episode, they realize that Henry’s book is finished but does not say “the end”. Snow comments that it may be the end of this book, but it’s not the end of their story! Neverending story! 😀

I wonder who will make a cameo! It would make sense to include Jasmine since the actress was in another musical fairy tale series on ABC, but probably she won’t be given other spoilers. She’d also be expected, and Eddy hinted we wouldn’t expect the cameo appearances.
Maybe Graham? Maleficent? who would we not expect to see in a musical episode?
I am sure no-one is expecting a character as minor as Violet’s father to get time in the musical ep, but dude can sing!!! 😀
