Sci-Fi GirlParticipant
Might some of these other characters also be aged up like Snow and Charming?
HOROWITZ: There’s different changes for different characters for different reasons, and that’s the beauty of the wish realm — there’s a logic to a wish that isn’t necessarily the same as the real world, but it’s consistent within its own wish logic rules, and it’s allowed us to have a lot of fun with these characters, and play off what we’ve done for the last six seasons or so, and do new spins on them. That is the most nonsensical sentence ever, and also the most convoluted way of saying: we can do whatever the heck we want.
*facepalm*

Sci-Fi GirlParticipant– The…timeline…logic? Henry was still a thing here? By Neal? Okay so how did Neal live centuries into the future to be with Emma in the EF? What made Rumpel want to create the dark curse if Neal was alive and well in the realm? Even if you make the argument that the wish only made it so that EQ was defeated in this timeline, that doesn’t account for the fact that Neal should still have been in NVL or our world by that point. Just don’t get it, and of course, I’m thinking too hard.
– Why does Rump have a magic bean? There aren’t supposed to be any left…
Not to mention the fact that a magic bean is one more thing that negates the need for a dark curse. *shrug*

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantCould feelings/theories/etc on fairies’s male children have something to do with why they are so against love for their kind? Maybe abandoning Rumple was a kindness on his mother’s part, or so she thought.”
Interesting! The consequences of being a son born to a race that is normally all female, as a possible reason for Rumple’s abandonment.
For some reason I never thought of that aspect!

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantbased on the actress, she may have a bigger role than you might think.
Not familiar at all with the actress
I am familiar with the actress, and she is very good! She was a regular on a show called Defiance, in which Nicole Muñoz (teen Lily) was also a regular! 🙂
In fact, she played Nicole Muñoz’s mother-in-law!! 😆

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantThis guy’s outfit is so hilariously mismatched I have to assume it is intentional. A pile of furs, a bunch of uncut buckskin leather with hand stitching on the edge, and … corduroy pants with very modern looking seams??? Dude’s not a relic, he’s a cosplayer!! 😆
Seriously, open the image up in a new tab and zoom to full size! 😆 (Also the seam on top of his … helmet(?) looks modern too.)

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantWHAT nationality is FLYNN? I was under the impression he was from some ex SOVIET country…. but other have said he is American.
Goran Visnjic is Croatian, hence the accent.
I was trying to figure out what country the character was from. I thought they said in the first episode but I missed it on re-watch. So now I am confused…. LOVE the accent by the way.
.
Transcripts are great for that kind of question! 😎 Here is the transcript for the pilot, at a website that has transcripts for many many shows:

A quick search of the page for “Flynn” turned up what you were looking for:
Garcia Flynn, ex-NSA asset in Eastern Europe.
Ex since when?
Since he killed his wife and child and went off the grid.
That was a year ago. We thought he was holed up in Chechnya, but apparently not.So, they never say exactly were he is from. The NSA was first aware of him in that region, but he could originally be from anywhere, especially if he is from the future! 😯

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantHmm, I just checked the transcript, and while the conversation that I remembered is there, it is very much open to interpretation. The text:
Now, Mr. Hyde, before his untimely demise, told me the Oracle gave Emma visions of her future, and she wasn’t willing to tell me about them, so…
It was you.
You killed her.
Well, if that surprises you, you’re not much with reading people.
Probably not good for a therapist.
But since the Oracle is gone, I need information, and you, Cricket, are my only source.
So, Archie assumed that she did it, and EQ was happy to be assigned credit for such an act. But she didn’t actually confirm or deny that she did so, she only confirmed that she would happily have done so.
For all we know, Evil Queen got there too late, and that is why she couldn’t get the information! Maybe she saw who did it, and maybe she didn’t, but either way she is not telling!

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantDidn’t Evil Queen confess to it when she kidnapped Archie? She was looking for Emma’s secret, but the Oracle didn’t tell her?

Sci-Fi GirlParticipantDid anyone see a similarity between the shears and the last episode in which Rumple cuts his hair. I just think it’s weird that they again mentioned Rumple’s haircut in this episode and then introduced shears that can cut your fate.
Also worth noting that the shears belonged to The Three Fates. Don’t know how that will come to play, but it might mean something.

Sci-Fi GirlParticipant^ And it was absolutely wondrous!! Does anyone have a youtube clip, or audio clip of that scene?!?
