This might not mean anything, but it was a front license plate we saw. However, PA only requires that a car have rear plates.
[adrotate group="5"]sedornaParticipantSorry for the repost. Not sure how that happened.

Maybe because he’s a professor of science? That’s what I thought when I read his last name. Professor of Science equals Professor Marvel/Wizard of OZ ? 😕
Well, Mendel did do his experiments mainly with pea plants, which are green. Emeralds are green, too, and so is the Emerald City. Or not. It might have been just the green glasses everybody wore, if I remember the book correctly.
I wonder if there is a connection between him and Whale/Frankenstein, since Whale wants to save his brother who, I assume, is genetically related to him. Also, there appeared to be a boatload oF Wizard of Oz references during the Whale is Frankenstein episode.
On another note, the first ever American hot air balloon ride took place in Pennsylvania. The car is from PA. The Wizard of Oz travels by hot air balloon.

Least Favorite Moments/Aspects: Also, I might be alone here, but Rumpelstiltskin being Peter Pan let me down–he has already been the Fairy Godmother for Cinderella and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. It is starting to be a bit much.
I never saw Rumple as being a proxy for Peter Pan at all. To me, he is clearly the crocodile. Aside from the fact that Killian Jones calls him that word, he (Rumple) chops off his (the future Captain Hook’s) hand and says “tick tock” to let the captain know that time was running out. In the original story (well, the Disney version, at least), the crocodile had swallowed a clock, which ticked to announce its presence.

sedornaParticipantOh, yes. My previous theory, that Dr. Whale was Don Juan, was completely blown out of the water after seeing that promo. He is definitely Frankenstein.
Probably.
sedornaParticipantI have to admit, I don’t want to have Cora be King George’s true love because I don’t want her to be another good person who lost her love and then became evil. I like her being just plain evil.
I do like the idea of Cora being the one to have poisoned George’s first love. She is miller’s daughter, but is extremely ambitious. She wants wealth and power. So she finds Rumple and learns magic from him. However, as well as actual power, she also wants official power. George has that power. Unfortunately, George already has somebody. If she can remove that small obstacle, she’s home free.
Unless George finds out, of course.
sedornaParticipantWhat if Cora wasn’t King George’s true love, but rather his second wife? He loved and lost his first wife, and then decides to be more practical with his second wife. A fertile woman who can spin straw into gold is somewhat useful.

sedornaParticipantDid I miss it, or did I miss the scene where Rumplestiltskin told younger Regina that all magic comes with a price? He seemed to be encouraging her without his usual warning.
