ParticipantFor as grumpy as Twelve is, he’s certainly very accepting of it when his companions do things they shouldn’t (Clara trying to force him to save Danny, Bill making a deal with the Monks…) Remember when Nine lashed out at Rose for saving Pete’s life? or Eleven yelled at Amy for trying to censor what information he got on the Whale ship?

ParticipantI would definitely do it if it’s an online poll of some sort….

ParticipantI was really disappointed with this episode. It had its moments that I liked, but was altogether too mediocre for my liking. There were bizarre moments, like introducing Missy as “the other last of the Time Lords” when neither one of them are anything of the sort anymore…. I confess to being annoyed with the similarities to both Last of the Time Lords and Turn Left. I DID like the Magpie Electronics callback…
I LIKED the idea of the Doctor being cynical and joining the Monks because of all the years spent saving the world and then they just hand it over. I wish they had actually gone with that instead of him playing a big practical joke on Bill. I did not like that they had Bill shoot The Doctor FOUR TIMES, nor did I appreciate the obvious audience fake-out of an early regeneration.
I liked Bill’s “interaction” with her mom. I LOVED The Doctor telling her that in a world of 7 billion, there is one like her. I also loved the entirety of Missy’s place in the story. I don’t really even like Missy, but I adore the way they used her in this arc. Loved her talking about her version of good and The Doctor’s version of good; loved her talking about thinking about all the people she killed. I know they won’t keep the kinder, gentler version of Missy/The Master forever, but I like seeing the different facets of their relationship.

ParticipantI am curious – I don’t assume they are going to age Regina and Hook in every single episode, so what are they going to do to explain the fact that they all stay the same age? What do you think are good excuses they COULD use?
I’m going with fairy tales being tied to belief keeps them young. OR the Dark Curse 3.0 never being broken means they all stay in stasis, age-wise.

ParticipantI think Henry being in his full mind and the show being about why he decided to leave the magic world is much more interesting. It is Henry actually making a choice.
I totally agree with this. I think it would make it interesting if something happened and he lost Lucy’s mother for reasons pertaining to magic. If he were estranged from his family because of heartbreak, that would be a good building block for instant conflict… Of course I also think it would be fun if Henry realised he needed a specific skill set to do whatever he has to do and calls home and this is the unlikely trio sent across the country to assist him. Heh. Hijinks ensue.

ParticipantI don’t see why not as long as its interesting and keeps us captivated.
This is how I feel as well. I mean, I was totally captivated in S1, which was a curse that lasted an entire season….

ParticipantBut perhaps they are better when the characters are all fresh. They proved when they have fresh new characters, the story is good. They proved it with season 1 and with Wonderland. That’s all I’m saying.
I totally agree. That’s why I am not writing season 7 off, ESPECIALLY knowing next to nothing about it.

ParticipantI’m totally willing to give it a fair shot. As has been stated, we know basically nothing about what will happen. I honestly see this as a good thing! They have had problems in the last few years, I agree, but maybe they will surprise us and do a great story. Maybe they will get back to basics, as it were, and give us characters that are likable and compelling.

ParticipantThis trilogy of Class episodes, on the other hand…
I watched Class when it aired in Canada, like a year ago? I think? I remember not being 100% on board with the first couple of episodes but really liking it by the end. Which episodes are you referring to?
