ParticipantBarbara Barnett Write Up of SDCC And her interview with Bobby and Emilie

When I see interviews like this I get jealous because I have so many questions for the cast!
I loved the hints Bobby keeps dropping that Rumple might still be the Dark One and have powers. This is the first time two ‘Dark Ones’ have been alive at the same time. There is so much that could happen.

ParticipantOn Once it’s not repeating a storyline, it’s creating a parallel.

ParticipantThough I’m truly conflicted with Adam and Eddy making Regina the Savior, I mean it’s a nice gesture to flip the roles a bit, but I don’t want Regina to be Mary Poppins II. Regina is an Anti-Hero, that’s her thing, don’t make her into a goody two shoes please!!!!
I laughed at that image.
From Lana’s interviews I think the direction is more that Regina is now responsible for other’s ppls happiness now. Before this Regina only extended herself to those she loves. Whereas the Charmings help people because ‘its the right thing to do.’ Now she will be responsible for everyone. I think this is the next step in her story from villain, to reformed villain and now as the anti-hero, who kicks and screams the whole way towards saving the day.
So she’s not really the ‘savior’, more so the ‘hero.’

ParticipantWell, after Comic-con we now know Camelot’s timeline is completely screwy and could potentially have existed during Killian’s time in the naval army.
This completely reopens the door for the King Authur = Killian’s dad theories.
Sean Macguire also hinted that there could be a Lion tattoo/Richard the Lionheart/Camelot type of connection in one of his Comic con interviews.

ParticipantSo like Anna and Elsa, I think the twist with Merida will simply be how that character interacts with the OUAT universe, while she’ll remain true to the original character.
This is my feeling as well. It was mentioned Merida’s arc should only last a few episodes. The family ties usually come into play for the characters who end up staying.
But IF she is related to anyone, I think she could be Rumple’s sister or something.

ParticipantRed hair, and good with a bow? Repeating what I said in the Comic Con thread – Merida is the Wicked Hood baby from the future.
Adam replied to a tweet that no, Merida is not their child.

ParticipantHe’s going to go and save Emma come hell or high water.
Heh. I wonder if this pun was intentional.
HOROWITZ: I wouldn’t call it a love triangle. It’s a— KITSIS: —love obstacle.
Thank the stars for this direct quote from them. It was so absolutely needed.
(This story still sucks)

ParticipantThey could have just said some random character is being casted for whatever!!! Why lie? >___>
If they would have just used a description most of us would have immediately thought of Merida. It does seem like she is still tied to Rumple in some way, so that is good.

ParticipantZelena is in the first episode. There is no way she is going to be locked up for very long.

ParticipantI’m pretty sure that part of Merlin’s mythology is that he gets younger as he gets…older. Like he ages backwards–or I believe T.H. White calls it “living backwards.”
Hmm. That would explain why he seems to be the chessmaster. He has put a lot of different pieces in place in this story.
If he is this old, I wonder if that means he is close to death.
