That would be pretty cool. Almost like a hardwiring her with centuries of knowledge.
It’s Emma because 1) True Love Baby and 2) Because Rumple put a drop of that true love on the scroll. That’s why Emma is the Savior.
My crackpot theory is that because Rumple created the Savior as an act as the Dark One, he will have to become the new savoir. Might be why they are introducing his mum.
Will Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Regina (Lana Parrilla) have an official operation name for saving Emma?

They are the only Once couple left without one. Lord knows they deserve some romance.

I dig it. I like this much more than I liked the EW promo pictures. It actually reminds me of the American Horror Story aesthetic. A stark contrast from this:

Quite a few Captain Swan fans think Davy Jones is related to Killian. They could go with a Pirates of the Caribbean’s thing. Bring Ursula and Ariel back.
This is the part that stood out to me:

I’m hoping this will be Emma with no obligations or expectations. She will be free in a way she hasn’t been in 4 (5?) years. Plus, with incredible power. That sounds really intriguing.

We know Robin was already a thief by the time he met Marian and described himself as a drunk. I think the run away knight theory works well.
