[adrotate group="5"]I know the way Zelena went about getting pregnant was wrong on many levels yet I find Regina’s “solution” to the problem, taking an innocent baby away from its mother, to be just as wrong.
Regina said Zelena would have very restricted visitation rights. That’s not taking a baby away from its mother. And considering its Zelena, that’s well within Robin’s rights to enforce.
However, if they do want Regina to get pregnant, I don’t want it to be through TLS (True Love’s Sex), I’d much prefer if Merlin undid the effects of the barren potion as a reward to Regina for all the hard work she’s put into her redemption.
TLS. Hehe. I actually think Regina’s infertility will come up next season, but she won’t get pregnant. I think water of Lake Nostros will be reintroduced, because of the Lady in the Lake tie-in, but I don’t think that will produce a child.
Call them the Once Scooby Doo Gang or Once Avengers. Emma: The leader of the gang whose great in both physical and magical combat. Most powerful light magic. Regina: Second in command whose able to get the job done the right or wrong way, also the most powerful in dark and sometimes light magic. Henry: The gang’s cheerleader who roots for everyone, but can hold his own. Robin Hood: The thief who can help the Once Gang gain or steal secret/locked away items. Snow White: Hope speech giving, peace keeper whose good with a bow/arrow. David: The sword swinging valiant hero. Belle: Brains of the group who knows all the info on books and un-magical things. Rumple: A now powerless sage/advisor of sorts whose able to train one in magic like no other. Hook: A wise cracking pirate whose voyaged all the seas, navigator. And now Zelena: A powerful witch with high knowledge of magic of nearly all sorts. Everyone can have a part to play without stealing anyone else’s spot….if anything, Zelena will be the “Belle” of magic, knowing all things magical and enchanting. Rumple’s place would be like a sage or advisor now.
This is great. And I think its important that everyone will not be all on board to Save Emma like they were to Save Henry. All of these people have different motivations and priorities, which is where the angst can be found.
Case in point, Belle. She has a lot of reasons never to work with Regina OR Zelena, but The Charmings and Robin are her friends. What does she do?
Rumple is depowered, but is still very knowledgable and crafty. What would his motivation be to Save Emma? And Zelena’s in town. How does he feel about that?
Hook will be right in the mix, but he has a LONG history. We saw how far Hook went to avenge Milah. How far will he go to Save Emma? Also who knows who he’s pissed off over the years.
So about Arthur/Gwen/Lancelot. Do we think we will only see them in flashbacks? Lancelot was in the EF pre-Dark Curse, so 30+ years ago. Or do you think Camelot was frozen in some way similar to the EF and Arendelle?
Cora had that magic staff stick thing that protected her from the curse. I think she got it from Merlin. Cora also had a connection to Lancelot, saying she killed him and took his form although A&E kind of implied she was lying or that we shouldn’t trust what she said. So yeah, I think there is some Cora/Merlin/Lancelot deal that was made to get Cora the staff and Lance out of the picture.
I think I read somewhere that Lancelot was part of King George’s court after leaving (implied) Camelot? We also know he’s connected to Snow. And if he was connected to Cora, he was also connected with Hook.
Maybe Lancelot is Merlin’s son and Merlin has beef with Arthur for banishing him. <rubs hands evil-like>
f they decide to forget about Richard the Lionheart and his place in the RH cycle, they could easily tie Robin and Arthur together in a similar manner whereby Arthur replaces Richard the Lionheart has Robin’s ally and friend and Robin replaces one of Arthur’s Knights.
This is my prediction as well. The Lion tattoo came from somewhere and it looks like a crest. We also have no idea where Loxley is on the ‘map’. He might also be tied to Lancelot because they were both in the EF during Cora’s reign.
My prediction is that Guinevere is related to Regina from her father’s side of the family mostly because they are specifically casting a Latina. I think she’s suppose to parallel young Regina, in a marriage with Leopold.
I think Merlin could be tied to Rumple, Zelena, or Hook.
If anyone trusts Zelena to the point of allowing her to assist with anything, or they allow her any sort of freedom, I’ll roll my eyes right out of my head. There is no way that anyone in town should trust her, ever, at all.
I don’t think Zelena has done anything so unseemly that no one in town would trust her if she was trying to bargain with them. No one had any reason to believe Rumple, Regina, or Hook at one point in the past, but they still did. Trust has to be earned and by making Bex a regular now they have the space to work on that trust.
But really with Zelena? How are they even going to use her, apart from scenes with the baby?
I can see a lot of possibilities to use Zelena outside of the baby scenario. She is an extremely powerful witch with a lot of knowledge. She is an instant information source and can wield that information to gain more and more freedom within Storybrooke. She could become a Rumple-type character.
The only way I can think to make Zelena’s regular status “worth it” is if Zelena actually knows something about Camelot and Merlin and she goes along on the adventure to find Emma, along with Hook, Regina, and Robin.

They’re also seeking a Latina to play Guinevere.
A Latina like Young Lily? Or a Latina like Adult Lily?
So they’re going for a African British actor for Merlin.
I change my vote to Colin Salmon as Merlin. I actually really want him to be Morgan Freeman or James Earl Jones, but that’s not the story they are telling. Also, they can’t afford them.
