ParticipantBut this issue will be hotly debated among Regina and Rumple fans for weeks and months to come, because the writers (deliberately is seems) cut the scene of Regina taking Belle’s heart.
I’m not sure how any fan of Rumple’s has a case to make. I can understand people sympathizing with Belle, but she is a person totally outside of Rumple. I understand being a fan of both, but to get ‘Poor Rumple’ out of what happened to Belle is confusing to me. Rumple is no ones victim.

ParticipantSays Kitsis: “Usually we’re like, ‘Hey, we’re going to a new land,’ but this is much more in the vein of when Gold looked up [at the end of Season 1] and said, ‘Magic is coming,’ where a condition on the show changed as opposed to the characters changing.”
My theory is that Rumple loses all of his goodness and becomes the next Big Bad.

ParticipantOh come on. They were friends for like, what…? Two minutes? Quote I tend to agree. This whole “she was my best friend!!!!” thing is like…you literally knew her for one day.
I think from Emma’s perspective its not the amount of time she knew Lily, its what she represented to her. Someone who looked out for her. Who ‘seemingly’ understood her struggles. It doesn’t matter how long you know someone if they make an impact on your life.

ParticipantSo what did Regina do, but try and rub a lot of salt into the wound by having Belle say horrible things to Rumple all because Regina is prissy over Robin Hood.
Wait, so Rumple has Regina knocked out, handcuffed in her own vault, and threatens Regina with either going along with his plan to make Emma dark or killing Robin and its her being ‘prissy’?! Regina has every right in the world to be mad at Rumple.

ParticipantSo, while this was a nice change to the repetitive weak sob story they’ve given particular the female villains on this show so far, it was likely an idiotic idea in the bigger story arc at this point.
The writers seem pretty liberal with the sob stories, not just the females.

ParticipantFavorites:
Cruella to the Author: “Enjoy your upper hand while it is still on your wrist.” (Just sums up her crazy)
The fact that Cruella was a true true villain.
Cruella listening to her Disney theme song on the radio.
Regina bringing the Evil Queen to serve Rumple a little of his own medicine.
Trip to NYC!
The make-up departments work on Emma in the past few episodes. I’m waiting on Tumblr to produce a gif set on her decline.
Regina’s call back to Snow’s advice to her in 4.08. I loved the line about having a chance at grace.
Cruella playing Angry Birds
Dislikes
Henry! Dude. Learn to avoid the kidnapping. (Maybe his pseudo step dads can teach him a thing or two).
Emma raking her parents against the coals and their decision to double down on their assertion that they did the right thing. All of the Charmings need a time out to think about their decisions.
Rumple playing a very loose and fast game with Henry’s life and safety (again). Yes, Cruella can’t kill, but she can certainly cause harm.

ParticipantWhat if Emma actually ends up killing Cruella while trying to save Henry?
I think either Emma or Regina will shoot Cruella. I doubt the gun even makes it to NYC.

ParticipantI think I kind of know the answer to this, but what makes Robin and Marian kindred spirits? Why were they able to relate to each other so well?
Thats interesting that she used the term kindred spirits as oppose to Robin and Regina being soul mates. I think it points to two types of relationships. Kindred spirits could just be really good friends. To me it speaks of an understanding between two people that makes you feel like they get you on a fundamental level.
Before the Zelena twist, I totally bought Marian’s line about how she would not stand in the way of Robin and Regina’s relationship if that is what he chose. I think thats something the real Marian would say, because she would have that base of friendship with Robin. I could totally see they co-parenting successfully.
Whenever Robin and Marian are together I always think they look sweet. First love type of feeling. When Robin and Regina interact it seems more…passionate. Sean does a good job because Robin doesn’t even touch Marian the same way he touches Regina.

ParticipantGlinda is a lying liar who lies. She told Regina she couldn’t enter the portal because of her dark heart and we know Snow had a dark spot on her heart and now its come out that The Charmings have done dastardly deeds.

ParticipantI just don’t see Sean’s Robin as the killer type.
While I agree I don’t think Robin’s a murderer, I very much think that he would have zero problems killing someone to a) get out of a bind b) self- defense. We’ve seen him draw weapons on Rumple, Regina, and Zelena. Pretty sure he actually DID shoot Rumple. He almost beat up the thief in New York. He told Regina he would be happy to have ‘more than a conversation’ with the Author.
To be honest, he’s a bit of a wimp, especially when it comes to making a difficult decision.
He might waffle in his romantic relationships but I can’t recall him having a hard time making a difficult decision. He made a clear cut with Will when he put the Merry Men in harms way. He went to great lengths to save Marian by stealing from Rumple. He sat on the war council in the EF despite Regina’s attitude problem and contributed helpful advice. He joined the hunt for the Wicked Witch AND the Snow Queen. He also helped Regina with the plan to protect her heart from Zelena.
