ParticipantAnd yet Zelena’s heart was bright red when Regina pulled it out of her in 403.
Regina’s heart was mostly red in the scene where she gives Robin her heart in 3B. Like people have mentioned previously, there is a difference between doing dark magic for 50-60 years and 300 years.

ParticipantWell…hmmm…in Zelena’s defense…Rumple did try to kill her after she had begged him not to do so, not to mention she was a defenseless woman.
My question is did Rumple cause the portal to open when he released Zelena’s life force by trying to ‘kill’ her?

ParticipantLOL. Sean tried to warn us….
Likes:
– Roland Hood!
– The acting in this episode was really well done! Marian as Zelena was exceptional. The little facial quirks, the tone of her voice. Zelena was just as batty as always. (LOVED)
– Emma calling her parents out on their lame attempts to justify their deplorable actions. Huzzah.
– Surprisingly, the Sheriff of Nottingham. He seems like a true villain.
– Robin Hood attempting to save Rumples life and giving him Neal’s things. I thought that was a class act and a great foil to Zelena’s whole pot of cray. I do wish they would have brought up the whole…ya know… torture thing.
– All the scenes with Rumple and Regina. That last moment was…. incredible. Lana knocked it out the park.
– I’m of the mind that Robin KNOWS Marian isn’t Marian, so the scene with him brooding in the shower and the “I love you” scene were really well done. Zelena is so narcissistic and delusional she would never question his complete 180 on his feelings.
– Loved that Robin used his thieving skills to give Will the elixer.
– I love that Once continues to surprise me even though I read spoilers.
– Disliked:
– The direction. The pacing was off. The weird replay of the scene at the town line seemed unnecessary.
– I want to say Rumple, but I have faith in his superior mind.
– The death of Marian. Seriously? Seriously? SERIOUSLY? That was soooo weak and callus and ugh.

ParticipantSo…he’s the guy from Assassin’s Creed?
Gosh I hope so!

ParticipantMy guess is Robin, Marian and Roland took a bus.
It seems as though they got off the bus at the beginning of the scene. Or maybe thats just my perspective.

ParticipantI would totally want Anika to play Tiana.

ParticipantMatthewPaul wrote: Marian knowing Baelfire’s name and how he got to this world is a red flag that she’s really Zelena.
At least she said “Baelfire” instead of Neal. Makes it a little believable.
Why on Earth wouldn’t Rumple have stayed at Neal’s place? The place where he found his beloved boy again. Now Zelena is staying there??? *heads desk*
The Hood family left before Rumple was banished. I can see him giving the keys to Regina…for a price.

ParticipantIf they answer those burning questions about the Author, I’ll be thrilled. There are a lot of questions about him and fate/free will at the moment.
I wonder if being made the Author is a gift or a curse.

ParticipantWith all that in mind, the DO seems like a by product of all these things, perhaps the same with The Blue Fairy?
What if the Sorcerer is the Dark Fairy that has been mentioned previously?

ParticipantIt seems like the next logical move is to say that in fact, they are neither (evil or good). This is where, from the narrative’s point of view, the rug is supposed to be pulled from under our feet, right?
To me this arc has been emphasizing that no one is evil or good. I keep coming back to the fact that the Sorcerer was able to be ‘manipulated’ by Ingrid. The Apprentice not only send her to The Land without Magic, but also gave her instructions on how to find Emma and how to get into StoryBrooke. Thats some way far out planning.
I put ‘manipulated’ in quotations because if the end goal is to somehow corrupt Emma, maybe it was planned all along.
Which would put more weight into the idea that nothing is truly free will. Everything is determined by ‘fate’.
