ParticipantNow here comes the retcon…why in the heck did we not see Zelena even give Robin a look in Season 3, as a matter of fact she called him and Charming “pests”.
There is a look between them when Zelena enters Granny’s after Neal’s funeral. I think its the first time she shows herself. Robin actually gets up like hes going to tackle her, but she has Rumple’s dagger. The scene where she introduces herself to Regina as her sister.
And to make matters even worse….what if Zelena knew that Robin Hood was Regina’s soul mate…if she’s been watching Regina her whole life, surely she would’ve seen the Tavern Scene.
I think Zelena went back to the Enchanted Forest at the same time Emma did. So she would know not only are Regina and Robin Hood a couple but that Regina gave Robin her heart and was part of the team that defeated her.
Come back as Marian, ruin both of their lives.

ParticipantI’m just thinking about the fact that The Charming’s tried to destroy Mal’s ashes. So they have
1. Place a foreign object inside of her body
2.’Borrowed’ her ‘dragon baby’ to transfer some evil unknowingly sending her to another world with two crazy aunts
3. Tried to REALLY kill her by destroying her ashes
Its so satisfying now to realize their blood is what brought her back to life.

ParticipantSo did the Sorcerer send August the quill?
In the behind the scenes shots it looks like the Author has the quill.
Sweets
ParticipantIts the Charming Softball team! (And their pirate mascot)
I’m intrigued by Will being included.
Does Rumple give the Author the quill back?

ParticipantAs for why they cast a latina as young Lily in the first place, they probably wanted a dark haired girl to parallel Regina during “Breaking Glass”, rather than casting her because Nicole Munoz is latina
My opinion is that they wanted to cast someone who was a foil for young Emma. But then had to cast someone they thought could carry the role of adult Lily.
It seems like more of a case of poor planning than white-washing.

ParticipantBut yeah, August being chosen as the succeeding author would explain so many things. Yeah, I know this theory might have its holes, but I thought I might as well suggest it.
I like August being the Author as well, but weren’t Princess Leia and Prince Charles added to the book while August was Pinocchio? I think the Author could make changes to the book while inside it but could not continue the story without the quill.
Also someone gave Robin that alternate page 23. Either the Author or the Sorcerer.
My crackpot theory is that the Blue Fairy and the Author are in cahoots. Maybe that’s why she turned August into Pinocchio so that new happy endings could not be written.

ParticipantThat’s why it bugs me that August didn’t mention The Brothers Grimm but DID mention Disney. I guess it could be for time sake, but to not mention or even hint at them….it screams “hello! We are OUAT and we are owned by the Disney corporation!”
All of This.

I think the audience is assuming the ‘Walt’ mentioned is Disney, but it could be a totally different person.

ParticipantThey’re operating with the mindset that their child might not follow in their footsteps, but obviously, without a doubt, Maleficent’s child will absolutely turn out just like its mother. Hypocritical much?
I think this all stems on their ‘oh its not a baby!’ A dragon is an animal that is inherently bad. If you operate under that assumption, you can convince yourself its a-ok.

Participantyou mean like Snow herself who took a potion to forget Charming, went after the Evil Queen with every intention to kill her and would be doomed to become equally evil but was only pulled back because of Charming’s unwavering love and loyalty and the choice he made to stand by her and help her through her “heart of darkness”?
I think even with that brief moment in time the idea that Snow’s baby has inherent darkness would drive her to make the choices she made in this episode.
Taking a potion to forget and inadvertently becoming dark is not the same thing as being born with darkness.
Sweets
ParticipantSnow seems to think it’s a foregone conclusion but her own past should tell her otherwise.
I think at this point in Snow’s life when she makes this decision she doesn’t have any examples of people overcoming darkness once they start down that road. She knew Regina when she was younger, but at this point in the story there are no redeemable qualities in Regina.
That would create a lot of fear in a new mother who is told her baby has this ‘potential for darkness’.
