Regina was married for about 10 years, right? She wore that pink ball gown looking thing when she met the Genie and Snow was around 18(?) . This could be from any time during her marriage to Leo.
There’s no way that can be a flashback back to her newly married status and when Snow and Charming were the age Charming is in that photo, Regina was going down Evil Queen route quite strongly, and actually WAS the Evil Queen when James died.
Do we know that Snow and Charming are the same age? I really am not sure if that was ever addressed.
Maybe it’s James in a Flashback?
That was my thought. The dress is very similar to what Regina wore as Queen during the Leo years.
I think Regina is using the dagger and Hook is just prissy because Emma didn’t entrust him with it.
Based on the clothes they are wearing I think Regina has a wand not the dagger.
I’m still on the Sleeping Warrior train. I think its sort of a cop out to pair two tough chicks together and say “here you go lesbians!”
Not only are Aurora and Phillip an icon Disney couple they are a Once True Love couple. Putting Sleeping Warrior together would shake up both franchises. Maybe that is what Brigitte was tweeting about.

I speculated that Merlin was Lancelot’s dad because they specifically cast a Black Brit. This IS good! She could be his mom.
I am so surprised with how pro Sleeping Warrior this article is! That’s actually really exciting. There is no way they didn’t get the green light to put that slant to the news without an ok.
Totally called it! It being the crew going to ask Zelena for help AND Regina being the best choice to get the dagger. (goodness I never get anything right)
