So now knowing the Shadow’s true target…
[adrotate group="5"]shinysephirothParticipantI thought this show happened pre-curse. Doesn’t the link say everything is occurring during The Land Without Magic’s Victorian era? Forgive me if I’m mistaken.
shinysephirothParticipant“His Dark Materials” have some.
The show “Supernatural” has ways of going to Heaven, Hell and Purgatory.
The DeLorean in “Back to the Future” can travel to different realities if the past is changed.
The Looking Glass also leads to Wonderland.
Does the Genie’s lamp count?
The Mirror World in which Glass was trapped.
Being put under a sleep curse sends you to Nightmare World (or the floors below or above it) or being once under that curse and going back into a deep sleep.
“Kingdom Hearts” shows a Gummie Ship can travel between worlds and doorways lead to a world’s heart. These doorways can also lead to other worlds; sometimes people can be transported to Traverse Town.
Care Bears and their Cousins travel from their world to ours.
“The Nightmare Before Christmas” also shows doorways leading to various worlds.
Tornadoes can apparently send people to Oz.
After dying one is sent to an afterlife (with LOST showing the sideways world).
Mighty Max’s hat.
In “A Christmas Carol” the Ghost of Christmas Future shows an alternate future to Scrooge if he doesn’t change.
The boat from River Styx to Hades (alternate reality or just a different domain?).
Jumanji/Zathura board.
Joe/Steve in “Blue’s Clues” can “skidoo” into Felt World.
The bridge to Asgaard in “Thor/The Avengers”.
A path to Distortion World in “Pokemon”.
However Rumple was able to get to Don Juan’s world. @_@
Eyes are the doorway to the soul. 😉
Jet Li’s movie “The One” shows technology allowing people to move between dimensions.shinysephirothParticipantI think his undoing has to do with him just not being Dark anymore: Henry will help Rumple become a good guy. 🙂
shinysephirothParticipantA thought I had:
The Cowardly Lion is Rumple. He caused the house to land on The Wicked Witch of the East so a person from the world Bae went could be granted the slipper and he could use her to get to Bae. He then, as a mole, weasels his way into the group, pretending to be a friend to get to the slippers.
Some thing I think could be also considered is Dorothy is from Black and White Land (like Whale). They made a point of showing James Franco goes from black and white to color when he is transported to a different land.
shinysephirothParticipantHere are my thoughts on the doors:
1) ???
2) Camelot
3) ???
4) Olympia
5) Diagon Alley (Rights Issues?)
6) Either Mirror World (Where Magic Mirror Was) or Tarzan
7) Narnia
8) Atlantis, Tron or Star Wars
9) The Dream/Nightmare World (Where Aurora, David, Mary and Henry Went) or Black and White World (Frankenstein, Wolfman, etc.)
10) One Thousand and One Nights (Arabian Tales)
11) Nightmare Before Christmas or Black and White World (Frankenstein, Wolfman, etc.)
12) Eastern Martial Arts Movies???
13) Oz
14) Wonderland
15) Imaginations (aka Wonka aka Probably Dahl in General)
16) ???
I wonder if Alice is from “our” world, meaning we may meet her in “our” world. Also if Dorothy would be from “our” world or if she is from Black and White World (the trailers for the new Oz film show that version of Omaha to be in black and white. To help Once Upon a Time? LOL). This kind of reminds me of Kingdom Hearts! -
