I suspect he will be back…
However, I suspect, to *try* to raise the stakes for life/death situations in the future, they will at least make it not repeatable. For example, if Zeus gives Hook some ambrosia or something, there will be some dialogue about that being the last fruit of the current crop, and it only blooms/fruits once every 100 years, or some other random fact/difficulty in repeating this come-back-from-death-feat in the future. At least I sincerely hope so.

So, yes I think the writers were going for TL confirmation, but they did it in the weirdest way possible.
What would TLK done at that point? If I recall correctly TLK has been used to break curses. Death is not a curse, and Killian wasn’t even killed by magic (curse kind or otherwise). If death was a curse then the Dark Curse is not even that severe, you may be able to sacrifice the thing you love most, then TLK it back to life… Instead of say, splitting hearts or something, apparently… 🙂
sierraleoneParticipantI guess he is mad he died basically… I guess maybe he would have preferred the entire Kingdom know that the dragon killed him? Maybe he wanted to be properly mourned, and that didn’t happen? It is not even like the King liked the replacement son in this case ! 😀
I think he is just jealous of David for various reason…. living, usurping/assuming his crown, slaying a dragon, having a happily-ever-after.
sierraleoneParticipantPresumably James, as a Prince on adventures, kill dragons and other knights and stuff, but yeah, nothing compared to Cora, other villains, or even some of our Heros.
I guess where you go simply has to do with whether the person’s unfinished business, that is keeping them from moving on, gets finished… Basically whether that person feels they got personal closure. And it has nothing to do with we’d think of when it comes to crimes/wrongs/sins and redemption *at all*.
sierraleoneParticipant^ You caught me Sci-Fi Girl 😉 😀 Thanks for sharing this place. I have been listening/lurking a while here.
sierraleoneParticipantYou know it has occurred to me why the heck hasn’t Zelena tried to kill Robin since baby Pistachio’s birth. Other than the writer’s don’t want it 😉 (I did say attempt, I didn’t say be successful.. or I am forgetting something?). Wouldn’t it kill two birds with one stone – solve the custody issue and deny Regina her HEA/happily-ever-after :p I doubt Zelena is consciously wise enough to think that her daughter might hate her one day over it (and if she is, she probably figures she can hide the facts)… I could see Zelena still enjoying toying with Robin and Regina still, but to get her own stated HEA it is the fastest way. While Regina’s dark side might desire revenge… even Snow and Charming separated a child from it’s “evil” mother once, I doubt they want to help do it again 🙂
sierraleoneParticipant^ Trying to remember the last time OUAT had a main character (regular cast) romantically paired with an arc character (guest star)… The only one I remember clearly is maybe Emma and Neal (don’t know if the Neal actor was considered a regular or guest start during season 2/3… if a regular I guess I could say Neal and Tamara instead as a doomed regular/guest pair…). And no, I am not counting Zelena-as-Marion and Robin 🙂
With how little time passes in a season/half-season I think Zelena could still technically reside somewhere else and have shared-custody, but actually be visiting Storybrooke and be a regularly-billed cast member *shrugs* 🙂
