Participantdarcyfarrow I guess many of us assume that is central to the story — Emma breaks the curse and David/Charming and MM/Snow have their HEA. Still might be a good question to ask though?
Do you remember what episode we saw a glimpse of the contract signed Mr. Gold? I think it was either 1×4 or 1×11.
hjbau Do you think the keys would be magic if they open any lock in SB or is that just the writers using the term “skeleton key” to its max? 🙂

Participanthjbau Always appreciate your input, whether we agree or not, can always use another perspective 😉
- We already know Emma’s magic is affecting things since she came ( ie. clock moved, sinkhole, saved Ashley’s baby from Mr. Gold, helped the kids in True North find their father, Jefferson let loose, Ruby’s transformation) so I don’t know if there might be a better question to ask.
Tried to ask questions about Henry and the adoption under the Pilot Episode and 1×2. They are not exactly worded, but check and see if they are sufficient.
Added the SW/Regina conflict as suggested under 1×3
I will correct the skeleton keys. I wasn’t sure how to word that.
Lastly, I agree with you about the bottle of love but picked love potion in quotations because it was shorter and I liked that it was number 9 on the shelf. 😀Dorothy — felt your question was covered by the question “where is Bae” under 1×18. Where would include time and space in this instance. Is that okay?
Empty Heart — Please check out the questions regarding Baelfire under 1×4 and 1×18 on the first page of this thread.Let me know if there is something more I can add.
Giving a personal opinion on your one question about whether or not Bae developed magical powers, I kind of assume that since the BF said he was sent to a land without magic, he is kind of stuck, like August, waiting for the “magic” (Emma) to arrive. Just assuming from what was told to us in 1×18.
Crimson Angel — I suppose I felt like Ep 1×18 told us Rumpel had planned all this regarding the curse used to find Bae. Perhaps a better question might be does the BF, being the original power, have a greater plan beyond Rumpel’s?

Did he plan to have the two true lovers make Emma to break his curse?
Also, giving an opinion here: if true love was an ingredient to the curse, I think Rumpel waited a long time for the perfect couple and the opportunity to deal with them. Otherwise, why not use Cinderella and Thomas? There was something about SW and Charming he preferred or he knew, and he has kind of a obsession about children. Children are often considered a natural result of true love… so it’s kind of interesting to think the result of true love is what will break the curse, which happens to be Emma.

ParticipantGot those posted. Think they are under the right episodes they correlate to. If you think they go somewhere else, let me know.
I wish I had started this at the beginning.
Thanks for the help!Snickerdoodle

Regina breaking the mirror in the promo may be an indicator of what’s to come for poor Sidney.
I thought that too!

I think Sidney is definitely the most expendable. Part of me feels like it will be kinda “been there, done that”-ish if they kill August, particularly if another character were to kill him, but even if he did die in other circumstances, just because his character did feel like a replacement for Graham in some ways. It could end up turning into “I wonder which handsome dark-haired man with a stubbly beard with a penchant for high-collared black jackets they’ll kill next?”
LOST writers aren’t known for caring how attached the audience is to a character. Although I did read today in the interview with Eion Bailey, who plays August, that they have some ideas for his character next season… but who knows.
Raphael Sbarge, who plays Archie, says they “keep their bags packed” not knowing from week to week if something witll happen to them.

ParticipantThanks guys, I’ll try to place those with the episode later today when I am done taking care of children:)

ParticipantI asked what counters a curse? A blessing perhaps. In the Bible there is a verse that says children are a blessing from the Lord. So, I think it is interesting that Emma, the child of PC and SW, has been presented as the one to counter the curse.
I chuckled to myself when the BF said to Rumpel “you would think of a curse instead of a blessing”

ParticipantDoesn’t anyone else have some “burning”, I want to know, unanswered questions?

ParticipantI am trying to remember what we know about the Blue Fairy we know she helped Jiminy and we know she helped Bae, and we know she helped to save Emma. She must have a soft spot in her heart for children.
She turned Jiminy into a cricket to help guide (save) Gepetto, She gave Bae a magic bean to help him save his father. She sprinkled magic on a tree stump and made it an escape portal so Emma could save FTL. I sense a theme here…
However, she was adamant about keeping Nova and Dreamy apart.
We have seen her twice as the Mother Superior — once chiding Astrid about getting the rent money, and the other time talking with August in this last episode “The Return”
