ParticipantI was wondering too. Hmmm
You know, maybe they need an houar and a half show. So much seems to end up on the cutting room floor 🙄

ParticipantSo where has August (if he is Pinnochio) been all this time? He has obviously grown up to be about 35. I had thought maybe in a Catholic orphanage and that might explain a connection with our MS/BF, and perhaps he was adopted and that would explain as a “local boy” finding Emma on the side of the road.

ParticipantMy first guess was August, and after tonight’s show I am not going to be surprised if Sydney is a casualty as well. Poor Sydney, I thought to myself, how blind can love get? Seriously, he won’t even save himself from her, or separate himself? It’s as if he is bound to her, and perhps he is because of the wish he used in FTL.
Of course, in this show, noone is dead until they are dead, so we will see.
I would like it if we could at least get to see what happens when someone leaves SB. Maybe Sydney will show us.

ParticipantI will cough it up and admit that it looks like August is Pinnochio, makes the most sense of any.

When Bae first got the magic bean from the Blue Fairy, I thought he was going to grow a beanstalk.
My daughter and I did too! 😆
However, if the bean leads to a land without magic, I am having a hard time understanding how Baelfire could be alive centuries later and canoot believe that the portal opened by the bean is OZ or Neverland or anywhere with magic.
However, there is one theory, that although I didn’t like at first or even now, could explain it; and that would be if Bae were Jefferson, and somehow found a portal from a land without magic to other worlds through a hat that was brought there, or something. It’s a longshot in my mind, but for the moment it satisfies the idea.

I think Jefferson is still in the hat. And i don’t think Geppetto knows who August is yet.
I agree with that. I didn’t think Henry or the Mother Superior, I thought Bae, because someone has to have told him about the knife and what it looked like. But I am wondering if Bae can even be alive after the centuries that have passed, if he went to a land without magic. So, I have to say, both Henry and the Mother Superior are options.

ParticipantThat was a great mislead on Mr. Gold’s part, wasn’t it? He wants tot find Bae so badly that it took me a bit to remember that Pinnochio and Gepetto are also estranged and so what she said to Gold could totally have been about Pinnochio and Gepetto, but Gold wanted it to be Bae so badly.
Now I wonder if Bae is even alive. If he went to a land without magic, how could he stay alive for so long? He would need magic to keep him alive.
Anyway, as to the BF/Mother Superior remembering, I believe she does. She is more powerful than Rumpel on the “good” side, although I will say I agree with OnionGirl that I have always had an uneasy/uncertain feeling about her.

ParticipantI’m with hjbau, Henry is key. And there are too many children watching this show for them to kill off Henry. They will do something creative if the show is still going when he starts growing, he will get kidnapped or something, or if they do it right, it can be a normal thing.
Snickerdoodle
ParticipantI’m good either way. Just think it would be more interesting if she is stuck. hjbau you could be right as well.
Say, did any of you think that the girl serving food to Rumpel and Bae in the clip was Cinderella/Ashley?
Snickerdoodle
ParticipantSo, what if whoever August is working with told him about the dagger? What if August is Pinnochio and whoever is on the other end of the phone line is Bae? So, they are on a mission together. Bae tells August to find the knife and describes it to him. We know from Desperate Souls whoever holds the knife controls the Dark One. I don’t think Rumpel/Mr. Gold will like that. In the clip they showed he only telling Baelfire that to get rid of his power he had to be killed with that knife. I am wondering if he told him about the control issue as well?.
Snickerdoodle
ParticipantTrue, but I’m still not covinced that’s out of town. We’ll see when we see the sign. I thought perhaps the sign was there to show us they weren’t leaving SB — they were staying within the boundaries.
