I will be the keeper of Snow White’s true love ring and Emma’s red leather jacket. (I’ve always wanted one of those:)
I believe Rumpel can see something of the future. I rewatched the pilot again the other night with my husband who is starting to watch because I talk about the show so much. In the cave when Snow and Charming visited him he seemed to have to work hard to see the future — he squinched his eyes and screwed up his face in an effort to see that it would be on her 28th that she would save them. He didn’t know that by normal means. Snow wanted to go to him because she believed he could see the future, she says so. So, I would say he sees some things. I don’t know if he can see everything. Maybe just enough to manipulate, or maybe what he tries to see. If he doesn’t try, he doesn’t know.
And I do remember Rumpel/ Mr. Gold saying something about emotions “blinding” people from seeing clearly. I think I have seen that more than once, like someone else said it… maybe Sydney
I thought of China and Mulan looking at that door as well, Mia.
I looked up a list of animated Disney movies trying to think of other possiblilities for the doors. Here is my list — Agrabar (Aladdin), Neverland (Peter Pan), Atlantis, Mt. Olympus (Hercules), India (Jungle Book), England (Sword in Stone & Robinhood), France (Hunchback of Notre Dame), Kingdom of the Sun (Emporer’s New Groove), Naboombu (Bedknobs & Broomsticks), and Treasure Planet. And then the only land outside Disney I could think of was Oz.
Can anyone think of anything else/kingdom/world, and do any of those doors look familiar for any of those stories?
I think that gray chimney-like thing reflecting in the mirror is Regina 😉

Yes, the Regina is the dressing like the EQ which would seem to be after Leopold’s death, and agree that throwing the heart into the fire for the curse would mean Henry Sr. is dead.
What a line about “family”, eh, to throw to the mad hatter and then turn around and kill her own father to enact the curse. That queen is evil and just wants to hurt people.
