ParticipantLily Sparks’ review is up.
This was another scene that wrote a headline in three-foot letters of “Look what strong female characters we write guys!” Because, you know, when the dude suggested to Regina that she let him be strong so she could be weak, she was like “Weak? Weak??!?! REGINA SMASH!” Maybe this is is just me, but it’s just an across the board pet peeve when shows directly equate female strength with physical violence. Like somehow “strong female characters” means women in leather jackets swigging from flasks and punching people in the face. It’s my belief you don’t have to act like Popeye the Sailor Man to be strong, male or female. Being vulnerable takes strength, being a leader takes strength, standing up for what’s right instead of what’s safe takes strength.
^ ALL OF THAT!

ParticipantLook at these images from the AU. Snow White and Regina swap places in Heroes and Villains. Snow White becomes Snow Black and Regina becomes the Bandit! I’m thinking that this is an alternate universe, a different twist on the original story, rather than something that actually happened in the past. But still, good theorizing!

ParticipantI think we can rule out Regina ever being pregnant. Didn’t Regina tell Cora she wasn’t pregnant? I’d have to rewatch that scene.

ParticipantGuest stars TBA.
That’s odd. Why not tell us now?
Maybe because it’s meant to be a surprise. Maybe we’ll be seeing some unexpected guest stars like Sebastian Stan, Dylan Schmidt, or even Jamie Dornan? *crossing fingers*

ParticipantHenry discovers he has big shoes to fill as he steps up to save his family before the story’s final page is turned.
Yep, Henry is the author.
It’s a race to the finish, and everything culminates with a shocking twist that will leave the residents of Storybrooke reeling
Rumple dies. Emma becomes the next dark one.

ParticipantSo judging by that bestseller, was Isaac’s entire goal simply to get an interesting story so he could become an acclaimed writer?
Seems like it.
And the Author’s full name is Isaac Heller. Why? Because he like to raise hell…

Participantlook how he’s changed!!!!!
character development!!!!!!!! yaayyyy!!! he’s such a better man now!!!!
Note: sarcasm
Since when does Hook have the moral high ground to preach about forgiveness to Emma? He still clearly harbors a desire for revenge on Rumple, after centuries. I get that Rumple tried to kill Hook, but seriously. Give it a rest Hook. Did he learn nothing about taunting the dark one?

ParticipantRead this theory I posted on the last page:
From what I gather, what is happening with this AU is that the past isn’t technically changed, but rather personalities and memories are suddenly changed. Isaac is starting this new story from a clean slate with the characters he is writing about. After all, this is a new book entirely entitled “Heroes and Villains”, rather than altering the original “Once Upon a Time” book.
I also mentioned how this would also explain why Henry’s birth isn’t retconned, if the past isn’t literally altered to make this AU work.
That’s an interesting theory, but I don’t think that is what will happen. Based on the threat Regina made against Zelena, she said she would have Isaac simply write her out of the story, so it’d be as if she never even existed. I don’t just think that’s memory erasure. It sounds like total retconning of the original story. To write out Zelena is to erase her character entirely.

ParticipantDoubt it, though. He was born in present EF…not the past. He’s being written as if the Rumple we knew never exited. So Bae doesn’t exist because he was never with Milah
Ugh. So Baelfire was never even born in this AU? Yeah, Henry had better fix that, pronto, because his very existence is at stake now.
