ParticipantAs for Emma having the heart with the greatest potential for darkness, I think she still has it. The Chernabog going after Emma in 4×12 confirms it. I’m starting to think the apprentice either deceived Snow and Charming into believing he could cast out Emma’s darkness so as to send Lily to this world, or the apprentice only succeeded temporarily in casting out the potential for Emma’s darkness and that she regained it as she grew up an orphan without anyone to guide her (she was a car thief after all).
So Emma still having the greatest potential for darkness has me wondering how that is going to spur Rumple in his pursuit to corrupt Emma. He obviously is still aware of the fact she has the potential for darkness, as he said at the end of 4×12. He was also the one who tricked Belle into releasing the Chernabog when the fairies were released from the sorcerer’s hat. Did Rumple intentionally seek to unleash the Chernabog in SB, and if so why? If the Chernabog had gotten hold of Emma’s heart, what would have happened to her? Is the Chernabog the Dark One’s minion? Does Rumple plan to use the Chernabog to get hold of Emma’s literal heart? Rumple is fully aware the Emma still has this greatest potential for darkness, since it’s his plan to corrupt the Savior. So, again, what was the point of releasing the Chernabog in relation to Emma and Rumple’s plan to corrupt her heart? Will we see the Chernabog again? Is the Chernabog the Beast of the Dark One?

ParticipantDespite the apprentice appearing to cast Emma’s potential for darkness into baby Lily, the Chernabog still went after Emma in 4×12. So that must mean either (1) the apprentice didn’t really drive out Emma’s potential for darkness after all or (2) despite the darkness being driven from her heart as an unborn baby, Emma nevertheless still developed the potential for darkness again while growing up as an orphan.

ParticipantI’m on spring break so won’t be around for a while, but I wish those who celebrate a very Happy Passover and a Happy Easter! <3

ParticipantSo, Emma sacrifices herself? Granted, I think we can all say if she does, she won’t stay gone. But this would fulfill the long awaited theory that the Savior will eventually “die.”
Hmmm. Looks like @RumplesGirl hit the nail on the head!

ParticipantIf Rumple is no longer present, why does Emma have the dagger? Is Emma the new dark one? Is the lightening storm caused by her power spinning out of control? Does Emma stab herself with the dagger?

ParticipantI think Lily and Mal will fade away into the background after this season. But Rumple could potentially become a long-term threat into season five.
He could be, but if RG’s theory is correct, then Rumple could be dying by the end of S4. The big bad could be Jafar, who was left in a genie bottle at the end of Once Upon a Time in Wonderland.

ParticipantI’ve got a theory that Will Scarlet knows more about the Author or the Sorcerer than he’s let on. I think Will being in SB could be to do with the Wonderland story having been tampered with, and now Will is looking for a way back home to WL (and hopefully Anastasia). Maybe Will and Henry will team up in a way to correct each of their books (i.e. Henry’s storybook and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland).

Participant(hm. Dragon. Marks on the Hand….)
Hadn’t thought about that. Interesting. Maleficent is a beast of sorts (the dragon). I’m still left wondering who Lily’s father is. Is he the Sorcerer or Charming? Was Lily born with the mark or did she get it as a result of the Apprentice driving Emma’s potential for darkness into Lily? Come to think of it, did the Apprentice really drive away Emma’s potential for darkness? After all the Chernabog did still go after Emma, so her heart still must have capacity for darkness after all. It seems Charming and Snow’s dark venture “to protect” Emma was futile.
Gotta wonder about Lily’s ultimate fate at the end of this season, then.
Yeah. I’m still hoping that Lilith isn’t past redemption. Despite lying to Emma in the flashback, I still liked Young Lily. She didn’t seem evil, just lonely. She was kind of an orphan (despite being adopted) who only wanted Emma’s friendship, yet didn’t know how to correctly achieve it. If it turns out that Lily really is the birth daughter of Charming and Snow, and therefore Emma’s biological sister, well, I hope Lily’s fate won’t be death.

ParticipantIn addition to Emma facing the temptation by the dark one, I think to be the ultimate savior, Emma is going to have to face off against the anti-Savior, Lilith. We saw how the Apprentice supposedly drove Emma’s potential for darkness into baby Lily. Emma the Savior facing off with the anti-Savior, Lily, could also be part of the final battle of good vs evil. Once again, this would reflect the Biblical prophesy of Jesus returning and defeating the anti-Christ and Satan, once and for all.
