I was disappointed. Since when does the Author have the power to control people’s actions with a magic pen given by the Sorcerer? That makes all that talk by the apprentice about free will seem obsolete (unless the apprentice really just is a jerk and was lying about being forced to turn Lily evil and send her to ALWM). How are we supposed to tell when people have done things volitionally or against their will? This magic pen calls into question all of the actions the characters ever made in the Enchanted Forest.
And just where is that magic pen now? How does August know about the Sorcerer appointing the Author?Does that make the Sorcerer on the level of God if he gets to appoint the Author? And just what side is the Sorcerer on anyway if he made a pen that the Author uses to control people? Crack theory: Does Lily have the pen now?

Could magic be leaving Storybrooke somehow? Slipping away? Rumple brought it to the town with his magic potion but maybe that is wearing off…hmmmm…..
Maybe the magic is connected to Emma’s heart darkening. She’s a product of TL, as is the magic potion from her parents.

Isn’t Rumple supposed to be immortal wherever magic exists? And last I checked, there was magic in SB. Oh well for consistency. Rules? What rules? Whatever.

If Regina got her happy ending with Robin–as per the book page the Author gave Robin–then she’d leave Snow alone, right? So Snow would grow up with her father but likely never meet Charming and never birth Emma. Most likely Emma wouldn’t exist.
True but Emma can’t just not be in the finale. I suppose Emma might not be in the Enchanted Forest at all, since as the savior, she was able to escape Peter Pan’s curse.

Except that before Henry could get to his birth mother, the bus broke down in a small NJ town.

Though one thing about the fake script….if it’s such a fake script…then why did ABC tell the person to take it down? Couldn’t they have just put out a statement declaring that the leak is a fake, and untrustworthy…why take it down if it’s supposedly fake?
All good questions. However, the person who posted the fake script could just be making that part up, too. We don’t know for sure that ABC actually asked her or him to remove it. He or she might’ve just gotten a lot of negative backlash from fans, so the person removed it to try and authenticate it. It’s fake.
I think the overall story the fake script gave might have some truth (in that it makes well educated guesses based on how A and E write) but that it’s not 100% legit by any standard
Educated guessing is probably what’s going on. A lot of what was in the so-called script seemed like it could be lifted straight from the Once forums.

Thoughts from the Ranch:
If Rumple really does want to make Emma the next dark one, could it be his revenge for her helping to end Neal’s life? Maybe he is now seeking the ultimate revenge on Emma by cursing her forever? Probably not, since that would require Rumple to remember taking the forgetting curse, but it would help to explain why Rumple tried to suck Emma into the hat in S4a, tried to take Henry with him from town, and tried to kill Hook, because he sees Emma as the new Milha."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home.
