Way to be an experienced undercover operative, Emma. NOT.
Emma has become useless, stupid, and blind. She went from a kick-butt, mostly shrewd and sarcastic savior to not doing much, running around like a headless chicken, and acting totally unprofessionally as a would-be sheriff. Seriously, what kind a sheriff lets known villains into town? What kind of sheriff lets her deputy search a car without a search warrant or uniform? What kind of sheriff lets the mayor and former evil queen kidnap a puppet-boy?

What if the selfless thing that Rumple does for Belle is letting her just be happy with someone else (e.g. Will)? What if Rumple’s redemption has nothing to do with him “winning” her back, but ultimately, putting her happiness first (even if it doesn’t include him)?

Her review is spot on….except the part at the end where she said it was “delightful”.
She’s in it for the SQ scenes. Of course, she’d like it (in a sarcastic kind of way). Total ship baiting going on.

Still worried they’ll goof it up by having it be Hook when he’s already Hook with Smee along (he’s credited in the press release). Hook and Smee immediately went to Neverland after the events of “The Crocodile”, and didn’t return to the Enchanted Forest til at most a few years before the curse. And the press release implies that Hook and Ursula crossed paths in the Enchanted Forest.
Okay. Maybe Ursula met Hook before he got his clever monicker and was simply known as pirate Captain Jones (after his brother had died but before he met Milha). That would place his and Ursula’s initial meeting in the Enchanted Forest, before Hook had his hand cut off by Rumple. Yes, I know Smee is set to appear in this episode, but maybe that is only in the present day.
Also, what if the Jolly Roger is back in present-day SB? Hear me out. Remember in POTC, Jack Sparrow got his ship back after it had been magically preserved in a bottle. What if Ursula very recently came to A Land Without Magic via an underwater passage, having brought with her Hook’s ship in a bottle? Odd I know, but it’s part of Disney canon, so…not impossible

My question is, when does this Ursula and Hook flashback take place? I hope we aren’t in for even more timeline contradictions.
Probably right before the first dark curse hit Enchanted Forest. As we’ve seen, Hook was back from NL by that point, looking for a way to avenge himself upon Rumple.
Also, anyone else notice that in the 4×15 promo, the Jolly Roger is back in present-day SB? The reason I claim it’s the present, rather than the past, is owing to Ursula’s modern attire aboard what looks to be Hook’s ship.

According to the 4×15 press release, Ursula “learns it isn’t wise to trust a pirate.” My comments? Too bad Emma hasn’t learned that lesson. Belle also showed remarkably little sense in swearing a pirate oath last episode. The audience may know it was Rumple disguised as Hook, but Belle didn’t. Why would she have trusted her husband’s mortal enemy with the dagger? *heads desk*

Hook leverages his complicated history with Ursula to find out what she knows about Gold’s endgame.
What leverage? Isn’t Hook the one who wronged Ursula in the past?
Gold and the Queens of Darkness torture August for information about the Author as Emma, Mary Margaret and David race to find them.
I know Emma is good at finding people, but she didn’t exactly bring her A game last episode. Hopefully, she’ll find him, with the help of her parents. I need my Emma-August scene to happen (and preferably before the very end of the episode).
Regina grows concerned for Robin Hood’s safety while she struggles to maintain her cover with the villains.
How clever of Rumple already to have a “bargaining chip” against Regina, thereby (potentially) ensuring her cooperation. I’m guessing Rumple already had his next move planned in advance, having previously been in contact with Robin in NYC (as we’ll see in S4E16).
In a Fairy Tale Land flashback, when a restless young Ursula enlists Hook’s help to run away from home, she soon learns it isn’t wise to trust a pirate,
Interesting. I wonder exactly what Hook did to Ursula in the past, and whether he prevented her from ever being able to return home again. Also, it’s too bad Belle didn’t have sense enough last episode not to trust a “pirate” (aka Rumple).

By now, most everyone knows Agnes Bruckner is playing Lily, the adult daughter of Maleficent. The interesting question is who else Lily might be. Might she also be the biological daughter of the Charmings? Might she be the current-day sorceress?

I’m glad to see August’s face again. Despite my anger at him for what he did to Emma, he and Emma did form an interesting friendship in S1. I wish they could just sit down and talk about everything that Emma’s been through in the past 3 seasons (e.g. believing in fairy-tales, realizing her destiny as the savior, losing Neal again, etc..). I’d also love it if August could see Henry again and talk about the book. There are so many missing pieces of the story that all tie back to August, like how he knew how to add a story to the book, how he knew Neal was Baelfire, and who told him about Rumple’s dagger.
I hope August gets out of the cabin and gets to interact with people like Emma. I fear he may never make it out of that cabin though.
My one hope of August meeting Emma again is for her to somehow track Regina (despite the fact that Regina conveniently left her phone behind). Otherwise, I’d say August’s chance of interacting with anyone other than Rumple, Regina and QoD is slim to none. I expect he’ll be turned back into Pinocchio by the end of next episode. Otherwise, Geppetto’s chances of a HEA are gone.
