ParticipantThere’s a 4 to 5 year gap between when we last saw Henry at the end of Season 6 and when he leaves Storybrooke to go to the new Enchanted Forest, since it’s mentioned that Henry finished high school. Then there’s probably at least another 5 years before Henry meets Cinderella, given the aging from Jared Gilmore to Andrew J. West. Then Lucy herself looks around 10. So that would add up to about 20 years.
Andrew West is only 33, not 38. He could easily have passed for 28, and he doesn’t look old enough to be pushing 40. I would have said it’s only been about 15 years, but I’m not one of the writers.

ParticipantRyan’s Irish so maybe he’s got some connection to Hook (yes I know Hook himself isn’t Irish but they use Colin’s Irishness sometimes when casting or naming characters around him)
Another long lost half-brother? Maybe this is Hook’s younger brother through his mother.

ParticipantI don’t think the writers are lying because there is a big difference between Regina and Roni. Roni will of course feature a lot in the present day, but Regina will only be in certain flashbacks in the first several episodes. Lana Parrilla, nevertheless, will of course be in nearly every episode since she is a playing one of the lead characters, a very important one by the sounds of it.

ParticipantIt’s going to be really odd if no one went looking for Henry in those 20 yrs. It would be massively out of character for Regina and Emma. Really hoping they address that.
I agree that it’d be totally bizarre and unbelievable if neither Emma nor Regina searched for their missing son; mothers never forget their children, no matter how old they get. Based on what Lana said, it sounds like Regina recognizes Henry when she meets her adult son again, but I thought she would be cursed as Roni when she saw him again, thereby not recognizing him. So, Regina must’ve seen Henry again as an adult before she got cursed as Roni, or Henry and Lucy have found a way to wake up Regina early on in the season. I’m seriously confused now.

ParticipantSeeing cursed Regina for the first time should be interesting. I wonder if Henry will wake her up early on similar to how Emma woke up Graham early in the first season. Of course, Regina wouldn’t die early on the way he did. It seems like Regina would be a valuable ally against Cinderella’s step-mom.

ParticipantIn my opinion, babies like Prince Neal & Robyn shouldn’t be included. They don’t have any lines.

ParticipantWho We Know Is Returning: – Regina – Rumple – Hook – Henry – Lucy – Emma – Belle – Gideon
I would divide this group into two categories: those who will return as regulars and those who will return as guest starts.
Returning Regulars: Regina, Rumple, Hook, Henry, Lucy
Returning Guest Stars: Emma, Belle, Gideon
Who would I want to return as a guest star? At the top of my list is Neal, not for shipping reasons, but for father-son reasons. Henry and Neal never got real closure, and I would love for Henry to have a vision of his dad the way Emma did of Neal. This season is focused on Henry and his hero’s journey. Who would be better to help guide Henry than his dad, who also lived and died a hero? Even if it is only for one scene of one episode, I long for Henry to communicate with Neal in heaven somehow.
Otherwise, I would like for Charming and Snow to make several guest appearances. As obsolete as their characters may have become as main characters, they were excellent secondary characters, and the show will not be the same without them. Plus, this show needs more heroes to round out all of the returning villains.

Participant2) Weaver? Names usually mean something on this show. Honestly the first thing that came to mind was “dream weaver” but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
I think weaver might just be close enough to spinner, which Mr. Gold certainly is.

ParticipantSaw this British movie trailer posted on social media. The name of the film is My Name is Emily. It has some strong Swanfire and Tallahassee vibes.
Also, you may recognize the actress who played Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter series.

ParticipantIt is really weird that Henry has just been gone for twenty years. Why wouldn’t he go look for his family or has he been cursed for all that time? Why wouldn’t Regina and Emma go look for him? It just seems really bizarre. That is the thing that they really need to explain. All this other stuff seems like nothing in light of that weirdness.
I agree it’s odd that Henry has been gone a long time, but how do you know it’s been 20 years? I thought it had only been ten years. Or did I miss something?
