ParticipantAny plans for Emma to return for more than one episode? KITSIS: Nope.
Awwww how sad…..
So does that mean Emma must be dead? If Jennifer Morrison doesn’t return for even one more more episode (as she has made very clear on social media that she won’t), then the last time Emma will be seen is 7×02 in a flashback. Emma used to be such a good character, but I can’t say I’d miss the final version of the character she became. By the end, she was no longer the Emma from early seasons.

ParticipantRose will be playing a new version of Alice! “Since no one watched the spinoff. I’m looking at you all.” -Eddy — Storybrook Mirror (@StorybrookMiror) July 22, 2017</p>
I’m triggered. This feels like a massive slap in the face and ‘Eff you’ to the fans that DID watch Wonderland. By all means use the different book excuse like they did with Cinderella but don’t say “Since none of you watched the spin-off”. It definitely seems like they don’t care about those fans or OuaTiW at all anymore. I’m fuming.
Agreed. I actually came to like OUAT in WL more than the original show. OUAT in WL was way better and truer to its original conception than was the parent show. The story was actually good, but I hate how the writers messed with Will and Ana’s story on the parent show. Also, I’ve never understood how someone like Eddy Kitsis who writes for a living could have such thin skin. He seriously sounds like a petulant moody teenager who sulks and broods when someone doesn’t respond well to his “creative” choices. He is just so bad at PR. Taking out his frustration on the fans because he isn’t as good at writing as he thinks he is isn’t going to endear him to anyone or to win any new fans either.

ParticipantI think it’s so silly that the writers have basically run out of ideas but that they chose to persist with the show rather than simply end it. They chose to re-set the show but with the same old memory-erasing curse and re-cast the same old Disney characters but with different actors. I get that it’s basically a parallel universe, but it seems really boring to me. Why go the route of Cinderella when there are still plenty of other fairy-tale characters, legends, and folklore to draw from? Why not make Tiana the main princess since we haven’t seen her? The writers could have introduced a Spanish or Russian fairy-tale or something new. They could have kept Violet as a new, original character or introduced someone else as Lucy’s mother. *sigh*

ParticipantI think it’s still a safe bet that Mekia Cox will be Tiana. I believe A&E said that The Princess and the Frog was a fairy-tale they’d like to get to one day, so now would be their best opportunity.

ParticipantAlso, i say she looks too old for him, i really hope, even if she is Lucy mom, Henry is not the Bio dad and only adoptive dad and henry love interest and lucy adoptive mother is another person,
Andrew West is 33 and Diana Ramirez is 37. A four years difference in age really isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things. I really don’t see what the problem is. It’s not like the 20-year age gap between Robert Carlyle (56) and Emilie de Ravin (age 35).
I’m willing to bet Cinderella is a (poorly chosen) code name.
Probably. Remember how the casting call for Aurora was Anastasia.

ParticipantI’d say this is about Hook’s life without Emma, searching for Henry to fix whatever is going on.
Probably, this episode will be about Hook, but I hope it’s not just another flashback of his days as a pirate since we’ve seen so many of them already. Hook became a highway robber (aka a pirate without a ship) during the missing year when Emma and Henry were in NYC. I wonder if this will focus on that time. If not, I suppose there could have been a time between 6×22 and before the newest curse was cast in which Hook might have returned to his pirating ways, especially if Emma was out of the picture. She’s the one who seemed to be keeping him on the straight and narrow, and without her the temptation to drink and pirate might be too much. It’s more than a tad ironic that Hook becomes cursed to be a police man, sworn to uphold the law, because Hook had been on the wrong side of the law for centuries before he became Emma’s deputy.

ParticipantHe did. It last like…3days?
Seriously, that man really needs to leave Twitter, which is basically a toxic land mine field now. Also, Adam’s response about Neal being a baby is really irksome. He was trying too hard to be clever, but it comes across as smug. He just doesn’t want to be nailed down about anything, and it comes across like Neal Cassidy was never important to the show. *ugh!*

ParticipantVladimir Ruzich is very tall, dark, and very handsome like Colin O’Donoghue is, but I agree that he does have more of a Mr. Gold vibe about him (what with his tailored suit). Also, Gabrielle Anwar certainly has a S1 Mayor Mills look about her. It’s basically a rehash of S1. *Lather, rinse, repeat*

ParticipantOdd. So OUAT is basically a cop show now, and the villains are now heroes the way Emma and Charming were co-sheriffs. Is that why everyone is saying they’re Wish Realm characters? I don’t think so. Hook from 6×11 was old and fat (and still had a hook), and the Evil Queen would have been old like Snow and Charming were.Do you mean they’re cursed characters? This reminds me of the AU in 4×21 and 4×22. Hook isn’t Hook but Killian (who never had his hand cut off), and Rumple is a hero (“The Savior” — as we found out he was prophesied to be) rather than the dark one. Also, this cursed version of Regina looks like a softer hippie version of herself with her flower dress and jean jacket rather than her usual profressional pant suit.

ParticipantSo Emma’s car (and Emma) have been truned to stone under a troll bridge? Okay. If I didn’t know better I’d guess that the Big Bad were the witch from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe who turned the creatures of Narnia to stone when they defied her.
Problem there is that Narnia is not public domain, and Disney no longer has the rights. So I wouldn’t count on it.
Hence, that is why I wrote, “if I didn’t know better.” Nevertheless, it is an odd coincidence given that Henry’s daughter is named Lucy, which is also the name of the little girl who befriended Mr. Tumnus, the fawn from Narnia.
The petrified troll also makes me think of the trolls from The Hobbit (which, I know also isn’t public domain).
