ParticipantSo Emma’s car (and Emma) have been truned to stone under a troll bridge? Okay. If I didn’t know better I’d guess that the Big Bad were the witch from The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe who turned the creatures of Narnia to stone when they defied her.

ParticipantI thought Adam finally had gotten some sense and deleted his Twitter account. Did he reactivate it? *sigh*

ParticipantIt was with Eddy. Bobby mentioned it at the convention, how he’d had all sorts of issues with the thing between Rumple and EQ. There’s a quote out there somewhere where he basically said that he had some strong opinions on it, and no one was interested in listening to his point of view, and he and Eddy had a major falling out over it.
*sigh* I wonder that Eddy and Adam still have jobs at all. They’re bad at PR. They really don’t treat their actors or their characters well.

ParticipantI think the villain angle is a good idea. The only problem being that that then creates the plot of let’s get back to our loved ones which is not an interesting plot. Though, if they have memory issues that could be why they aren’t trying to find the family, but that also is not an interesting plot. Both of those plots would just linger around until they ended and everyone would be fine. It could happen, but it isn’t good plot.
I agree it isn’t really a good plot, but I think that the core characters have memory loss. Henry tells Lucy that there isn’t a curse — meaning there probably is, but he doesn’t remember being cursed.

ParticipantI actually think Lucy’s mother could simply be an original character created specifically for the show. I mean Henry’s parents, Emma and Neal, weren’t Disney characters either.
This is my hope — that Lucy’s mom is an original character the way Henry and Lucy themselves are.
Even if Lucy’s bio-mom is a fairytale character, it doesn’t mean she has to be a character from a traditional Spanish fairytale or legend. For example, OUAT cast Lana Parrilla, a Latina, as Regina, despite the Evil Queen being from Snow White, a German fairytale. They also cast Joana Metrass, a Portuguese actress, to play Guinevere, despite her being from British Arthurian legend. Moreover, they cast Alexandra Metz, an African American actress, as Rapunzel, another German princess. Despite this show having been lacking in representation among its regular cast (other than Lana), at least the show’s casting hasn’t been shy to portray POC in tradtional European fairytale roles. By casting two Latina actresses as regular cast members and an African American actress a recurring guest star, I think the show is trying to be more diverse, which I think is at least a step in the right direction.

ParticipantMekia is filming on the first day? But so far no sighting of the other newbies? Interesting. Maybe she’s Henry’s newest girlfriend–who is not Lucy’s mother–because of course, love triangle. Or maybe she’s Lucy’s foster/adopted mother.
Please, no more love triangles….but of course, there probably will be.

ParticipantCan anyone confirm or deny a rumor that I read? Supposedly, Robert Carlyle and Adam Horowitz had a falling out. Bobby wanted Rumple to apologize to Belle for cheating on her with the Evil Queen while Adam refused to let this happen. Did Bobby really say it, or was this just more fan hearsay?

ParticipantI wonder if they are giving more control to some of the other writers since Adam and Eddie don’t know what they are doing.
Let’s hope so.

ParticipantI have a hunch the explanation will be simple. Emma, her parents, Belle, and Zelena went back to where they’re from (either EF or Oz) while Rumple, Regina, and Hook were cursed to remain in our world because “villains don’t get happy endings.” That is the thing that makes the most sense to me from an in-universe perspective, seeing how all three are recovering villains and all three actors were asked to remain. How many times have we heard villains don’t get happy endings? And who are the characters who won’t be appearing much if at all? The heroes of course, who mostly represent the remaining core characters’ happiness. Henry is the only hero left in the world other than his daughter because he was born here. The only odd one out is Zelena, who is a villain, but that could be because she is part of Regina’s happy ending, and we won’t see her again because of budget cuts.
