Participant*waves at KFC* We missed you!
@RumplesGirl – *bless Zach V* He said everything and more that has needed to be said. I’m glad someone in the “mainstream” fandom finally said something about a group who shall remain nameless. *clears throat*On the one hand, I’m in disbelief that this show got a full S7 because it’s so bad. Even the loyal fans know it’s done. On the other hand, I’m not surprised since the showrunners sold out long ago in S3. This show only exists as a cash-cow for Disney now. What’s next? Bambi, Simba, and Dumbo all become humans in SB?!

ParticipantYikes! I’m with everyone who thinks this is a really bad idea. A&E aren’t very talented showrunners, and I don’t see how this show has any life left in in. It’s well past it’s expiration date. Closing at the half-way point of season three made a lot more sense to me and many other fans, let alone season 7! The parent show is done, and this is basically another spin-off show. We all know how OUATinWL went in terms of ratings (even if it did improve as it went). By the end, the OUAT in WL was really doing poorly in terms of viewership. I predict this won’t go well at all.

ParticipantRatings are down during the CS wedding. JMo announces she is leaving the day after. LMAO! It’s just too priceless! *Karma*

ParticipantJust goes to show how deeply Neal is embedded in Emma’s inner psyche and how they were really cut from the same cloth. I agree with MRJ and Bobby; it’s such a shame that the writers decided to end his story for reasons.

ParticipantRobert Carlyle was excellent, and I loved his dynamic with his son, wife, and even his mother. The acting in the episode was good, but the episode was a bit of a letdown after the Black Fairy was teased over three seasons ago. I agreed that it felt cobbled together, which is a shame since the narrative could’ve been built up so much more throughout the season. The opening scene of the season should have been the prophesy about Rumple being destined to die at the hands of a dark evil with a cresent moon. That would’ve set the tone for the rest of the season. Looking back, the fact that we had Jafar and Aladdin as the opening scene seems strange now. Also, the episode had serious continuity issues. For instance, how exactly did Fiona become a fairy besides an unexplained “impossible” wave of a wand? How was it that Blue Fairy just left Rumple to be raised by a neglectful father like Malcolm? Why exactly was Tiger Lily banished to Neverland? Tiger Lily tried to prevent Fiona from becoming a dark fairy. I know: pointless questions.

ParticipantEh, gads the continuity! It’s melting! (Seriously, look to the left cause the continuity is lying dead on the side of the road!) Excellent, fun song! “Just wait for the second verse!” I was actually smiling during all of this. I *like* Pirate, Revenge-y Hook. Colin has such a great voice.
Agreed. Colin sings very well, and you can tell how much he enjoyed it.

ParticipantI know this won’t happen, but wouldn’t it be hilarious and simultaneously sad if the reason Emma ever fell for Hook was because of a spell being put on her when she was in her mother’s womb? What if the casting of that same spell on her wedding day is what actually snapped her out of it? Like I wrote, I know that won’t happen because the writers are hell-bent on making this ship happen at all costs, but just imagine if everything that happened could be explained in terms of a curse. *sigh*

Participant“I still think it was a mistake” – Robert on Neal being taken out of the show
Bless you, Bobby! I’m sure we’ll get the full story when Robert Carlyle leaves the show for good… In fact, it seems like Robert could have already left the show — especially since he now IS speaking his mind. Here’s hoping Robert doesn’t go back to this show. He can do MUCH better. He’s such a talent!

ParticipantYeah, A&E are just ripping off Twilight. It’s probably a dumb marketing strategy to get the fans tweeting, even if it’s angry tweeting. *sigh*
