ParticipantThis week’s episode is supposed to show Henry and Ella getting closer in flashbacks. Here’s hoping that we get to see exactly what Henry sees in her because so far I’m stumped!

ParticipantThe title suggests someone important (probably Regina) is going to wake up this episode.
But when a brutal truth is revealed, it could lead Drizella down a dangerous path.
Brutal truth? Drizella must’ve always known that Anastasia was the daughter that Lady Tremaine loved best, so it must be something else. A dangerous path certainly makes me think that Drizella cast this recent dark curse.
Tilly offers Rogers some intriguing advice concerning Eloise Gardener
Makes me 99.9% that Tilly is indeed not Eloise Gardener.

Participant“Very soon you’ll learn who she is and that she’s got connections to multiple characters,” executive producer Adam Horowitz says.
Multiple connections? We already know the witch is connected to both Lady Tremaine and Drizella. Could the mysterious witch also be connected to Wish Hook?
“I would say that the majority of our audience has guessed it,” Eddy Kitsis adds.
Sooooo…Gothel.Yes, 100% Dame Gothel.

ParticipantIs that pep talk between Regina and Drizella in the EF 2.0 or in modern day HH? It’s hard to tell because we can’t really see their costumes since the shot is only from the neck up.

ParticipantBut why? Why wouldn’t Drizella just want to order her mother around instead of being in control without her mother knowing? How is that even real control when her mother talks to her like that? I think it is like that just for this reveal, but the way they have her talking about it doesn’t really make a lot of sense.
Ivy probably wants her mother to think Victoria is in change up until a big reveal moment when Drizella finally gets the better of her mother. Drizella may also wish to thwart the resurrection of Anastasia to be her mother’s favorite. She seems motivated by her insecurity and secret wish to be loved and approved of by ther mother, according to A&E. From the Nov. 3 EW article: Once Upon a Time bosses on those two big curse reveals
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Drizella is actually awake from the curse! What can you tease of her motives?
EDWARD KITSIS: I would say that when you are the unloved child and you are looking for your mother’s approval — Ivy wants to show her mom that she’s just as capable, if not more so, than her, and we’ll be seeing that coming up."That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. ParticipantWhiny is a good way to put it. She just has no moxie, she was okay in the season premiere but Jacinda is just getting worse with each turn. She constantly needs to be bucked up or convinced by her 10 yr old daughter and her roommate. Even cursed Mary Margaret had some of that Snow White oompf.
Yes, well said. Even Mary Margaret had more spirit than this gal, Jacinda! And that isn’t saying much since MM was pretty spineless when it came to Regina although she had a lot of redemptive qualities that Jacinda seems to lack. MM seemed to have patience with Emma, kindness towards others like visiting David in hospital, and professionalism — all things that Jacinda lacks at present!

ParticipantDrizella is awake! And apparently pulling a number of strings behind the scenes. Were you surprised? What is Drizella’s goal and ultimate motivation? Did she cast the curse? What is her relationship with the Woman in the Tower?
I think Drizella’s ultimate goal has something to do with getting the better of her mother. She wants to be the puppet master of her mother while letting Victoria believe that Ivy is the puppet.

ParticipantI wasn’t over-the-moon about this take on the Princess and the Frog. I also wasn’t crazy about how Tiana and her mother at first just wanted her to get married. Yet, I was pleased that Tiana came to her senses and realized she didn’t need anyone but herself to fight back. I thought it was a positive message that she could be her own hero, but how she got to that realization was a bit clumsy since she just gave Dr. Facilier exactly what he needed to reek havoc and terrorize her and the kingdom.
I much preferred Sabine in HH! Despite being cursed, her resistance and free-spirit really shined through and stood in sharp contrast with Jacinda’s cowardly defeatism and very negative attitude. I think Sabine is a natural leader, a heroine, and someone to really root for — unlike Jacinda, who just seems passive, helpless, weak, scared and downtrodden even when not cursed. I get the sense that if it weren’t for Tiana and Henry that Ella never would have gotten anywhere in the EF 2.0 but would have just remained under Lady Tremaine’s thumb forever.

ParticipantQuestion: What’s next in Once Upon a Time‘s Ivy/Henry relationship? I loved seeing these two interact in the last episode. —Zara Ausiello: As you may have surmised by the way Ivy smoldered at Henry over drinks, “She has her sights set on him,” says co-creator Eddy Kitsis. “How he feels about it, we’ll have to wait and see. But she definitely seems like she is interested.” And given the Jacinda/Cinderella of it all, “There is some conflict to come!”
Really hope nothing more comes of this! I love that Roni drew a line in the sand and threatened Ivy not to get close to Henry. At least Henry’s mom has his back! I really can’t stand Drizilla knowingly trying to get her claws into her step-sister’s husband. Before when I thought Ivy was cursed, it was more understandable, but it really makes me dislike the skunk all the more. It’s too much like a telenovela.
