ParticipantIn that audition youtube for the role of his brother, weren’t they talking about stealing something? Been a while since I watched it, so I might be completely making that up? Anyway, that would fit Cyrus’ previous personality by the sound of it.
Cyrus being Aladdin would be quite an interesting twist! Also, Will is thief. Very interesting indeed.

ParticipantWhy put down admittedly-crack ships? I’m not even a Hookriel shipper (I actually prefer Eric and Ariel together), but I still see the fun of theorizing about fun, AU ships.

ParticipantYes, you’re right. Will and Cyrus are sorta like two sides of the same coin. Now we know why! Sounds like Cyrus used to be a lot like Will.

We just had a happy reunion with all of those… and we are getting ANOTHER one when Emma and Henry are returned to Neal and their family. I am sure we will see Neal dealing with the separation in the EF flashbacks. We have to be. And I’m sure once Henry and Emma get their memories, they will be focusing on seeing their family again– that includes Neal. Two separations and two reunions in ONE SEASON. I have the hardest time believing there’s going to be another separation, a permanent separation, by way of Neal’s death. So sure we’ve all be thinking, “they just thought he was dead!!” But this is the first time I’ve really contemplated the current separation and the subsequent reunion. That’s all a factor here and gives me much encouragement
That is a really excellent point. There is a similar idea presented in the story The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (an excellent novel about destiny, personal narrative, and love):
“I’m an old, superstitious Arab, and I believe in our proverbs. There’s one that says, ‘Everything that happens once can never happen again. But anything that happens twice will surely happen a third time.”
Emma has lost Neal three times and twice found him. She’s bound to find him a third time. It’s the way these things usually turn out in epic narratives and fairytales. Neal and Emma’s destinies are entwined; they have been since the beginning when Rumple made her the savior of the curse designed to locate his son. Yes, fate brought them together for a reason, and while that fate kept them apart because of the first curse, it’ll bring them around together in the end. That is what fairytales are all about: fulfilling one’s personal narrative as one strives to achieve a happy ending. It’s been shown quite clearly that Emma and Neal both have the same goal of Tallahassee (family and home); all that remains is them working out how to be together.
