ParticipantHere’s a pretty JMo to make everyone smile.
Thanks! We needed that!

If it comes down to Hook and Neal and Emma was going to make a decision eventually but then one of them DIES before she does that, her choice is now gone. She is no longer in control of her own destiny and life. It’s you end up with the alive one because he’s the one left standing. I hate that. And if Hook does die and she ends up with Neal…we’ll never hear the end of it.
Precisely. And to me, Emma losing Neal and ending up with Hook would make it seem like she was settling for her second choice. Last time Emma thought Neal died, she was devastated and tried to distract herself from her grief by making out with the pirate. Yet, come light of day, what remains? I don’t see what foundation they have to build a home on or what they even have in common. Is Hook really going to dismantle the Jolly Roger and come live in a home made of brick and mortar? Is he really going to be Mr. Monogamous and Step-Dad of the Year? I have a really hard time stomaching it if that is the direction the show goes. In my estimation, it sends the wrong message to viewers that says, “Good guy who lived a hard lives dies a miserable death, while that poor man’s quasi-step-dad who’s always been selfish ursups his place to get the family nice guy always craved. Moral of the story: it doesn’t matter how much of a bully you are for hundred of years because one week of good behavior is enough to make up for it. Is that the message that A&E want to teach children? Isn’t there enough of that crap in real life? If that happens then I can’t in good faith keep thinking about the nose-dive the show takes.

Participant*glances at ratings thread* I suggest they become un-fans of it right quick.
I miss season 1! I’d rather Emma have no love interest at this point than have the triangle of doom. She was doing well with just Henry and her parents. As Henry’s father and Emma’s first love, Neal was always a nice bonus. But why add a lusty pirate into the mix, who was the lover of Henry’s grandmother to boot? Just let Emma have some space without a womanizing swashbuckler who reeks of booze breathing down her neck. I’m sorry if that sounds harsh but that is probably how it comes across to the average viewer.

ParticipantAva is his great-grandmother, so this is his great Aunt?
Great-great aunt to Henry, great-aunt to Emma, and aunt to Snow White.

ParticipantI just had a thought. Why doesn’t Snow White just lend or give Emma her engagement ring that David gave her? True love follows it wherever it goes. If Snow really wants to make it easy on her daughter that would be a wonderful way to support her.

ParticipantI had an idea about why we won’t be seeing Rena Sofer, the actress who played the older version of Eva. It’s because this is a flashback to when Leopold and Cora were still young. The article didn’t say anything about seeing the younger version of Eva, played by Eva Allen so we may get to see her yet! Since we’re seeing a young Leopold and a young Cora, it makes total sense we’d see a young Eva! Phew! I was starting to dread the idea of Leopold and young Cora, but having Princess Eva be there too makes total sense and makes me hopeful there was never a love affair between Cora and Leo.
