Participant@Heather – I could totally see something like that happening! And like you said, take every rumor with a grain of salt!

I like that idea. Perhaps Neal goes to Oz in search of his father while everyone else presumes him dead. Maybe Neal makes some deal with the WW to save his father in exchange for being her prisoner. That would explain why MRJ was missing from the outdoor SB scenes in 3×16. That would show just how far he has come in his relationship with his father.
I’m not convinced that the death has happened yet.
Likewise. While it looks like there is a funeral for someone in 3×16, I think the true death is still forthcoming.
We’ve already seen everyone’s reactions to his “death.” And I think Rumple sacrificing himself to save everyone from Pan was a pretty big payment.
I don’t think it’s a weak argument at all. It would be highly redundant for Neal just to die again and would make his father’s sacrifice in vain.

ParticipantAlso, would the writers really put the death of a major character in an episode that isn’t about them? As far as we know, “It Isn’t Easy Being Green” is about the WWW, not Neal. So again, it doesn’t really make much sense to me to just have that be MRJ’s final episode without Rumple even being there for the funeral of his son, Neal. It wouldn’t only be anti-climatic, but it would put Neal’s ‘death’ on a lesser scale than even Cora’s final ending; at least she got a proper send-off in a Cora-centric episode. To give Neal anything less would be a major slap in the face. If they’re in fact going to say goodbye to Neal (again), they’d better do it justice! And would they really then rub our noses in it by following that up with a Hook-centric episode? *sigh*

ParticipantCould someone with Twitter please be sure to kindly ask if MRJ is still filming? He might answer that if that question is posed in a nice, respectful way.

ParticipantBecuase where are the pics of this person with the actors, since was Colin that took the pics, i dont believe that they would let someone from outside enter the set the whole day, while they film a funeral scene, and if this person is a fan of the show, she woul ask where is MRJ, is really strange that they allow her to pass a day filming a funeral, that person would imediately wouls find out by the person missing who was dead, that is what i think is really odd about this supposed day. I dont even question this person identidy because im sure they would investigate this person to know is wasnt lying about being who she is, they wouldnt be that stupid.
I think we need to be more charitable about the story behind the jersey. The person who posted the pictures gave a link to the real story behind the pics of the actors signing the “traveling jersey.” It’s actually very heartwarming and simultaneously sad. You can read more about it in the link provided here.I think the person in question is actually a terminally-ill patient whose wish is to visit the set of OUAT. The fact that she was guided around by Colin O’Donoghue suggests she’s just a huge fan of his. I don’t think this person was trying to be misleading. However, I do agree that’s it’s odd the person would be granted special access to the set on the day a major spoiler was being revealed like the funeral of a major character. Then again, who knows?

ParticipantAlso, remember those leaps of faith that all three members of the SF family made: Emma jumped off a boat, Henry jumped off of a cliff, and Neal jumped out of a window. It’s thematic throughout the entire story since S1. I saw this GIF set which reminded me of it today:
the kind where there’s absolutely no proof

ParticipantRumplesGirl wrote: Agreed, Slurpeez! and would they really have a flashback of Neal and August without having Neal in the present day somehow? They don’t do that. The flashbacks always serve as parallels and it makes no sense to have a Neal flashback with August if nothing is happening to Neal in the present day
Plus, the unspeakable spoiler mentioned the actor in question is leaving for good and won’t even be available for flashbacks. So, even if MRJ were leaving, it wouldn’t make sense for Neal to appear in flashbacks because we were informed that wouldn’t be happening.

Participant“It’s time to rename this vessel…we no longer sail as the Jewel of the Realm. From now on, we sail as the Jolly Roger”
I’m thinking we’re going to get a flashback to around the time when Killian Jones had become a pirate captain but before he met Milha. Perhaps we’ll see how he encountered a ruthless pirate named Blackbeard, who may or may not have been like a father to him. As far as we know, they may have been nemeses. I’m also thinking that this Blackbeard pirate might be in cahoots with the Wicked Witch.
It’s the same ship. They both have the same Mermaid motif in the Cabins.
Fascinating, considering that Ariel will be returning in a Hook-centric episode.
