ParticipantRG – For those of us who don’t have Twitter, could we post questions here for you or someone else to ask MRJ on our behalf?

ParticipantWhat a lovely SF meta:
Out of all the arguments against Swan Thief/Fire, I think one of the ones I understand least is the argument it can’t be endgame/is unrealistic because they’re first loves.
I don’t understand how it’s unrealistic. People are all different. Every relationship is different because everyone is different.
There are people in the world who marry the first person they truly love. Their childhood best friend, the person they fell in love with in high school or in some cases don’t have a love till college. Sometimes longer. Point is it can and does happen. And while it may not be the most commonplace, it’s more common than people believe. One of my best friends in high school got married to her high school love. Neither had a serious relationship before that. And they met back in middle school! Also as a nursing student, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many others who’ve been as fortunate. Just because it’s normal for people to have multiple relationships this day in age before they settle does not mean it can’t happen that people find the one on the first try, nor does it make it unhealthy if they don’t decide to branch out. It makes them blessed (or lucky if you prefer). And honestly, with how much they’ve been tying fate onto Swanfire I really don’t think it is out of the question that it’s true love, it’s entirely possible.
Everyone is different. Some have many relationships before they settle. Some have a couple. Some people get married a couple different times. Some don’t even want to get married and are simply content being a significant other to another person. And some end up with the person they loved first. None of these is any more or less realistic than another. It just seems to me by saying it’s impossible to have a true love the first time around is painting everyone with the same brush and saying the only acceptable way is if we have multiple relationships before we settle. That’s the ultimate thing about love- we don’t get to pick and choose where, when, or how we give our heart to someone. Love is not an on/off switch.
Also, to those who say Emma said she needed Neal for their family and for Henry… she didn’t say Henry needs you. She said *I* need you. The writers have constantly said they intended for Emma and Neal to still be in love. To quote the “Who Is Baelfire?” short- “One of the reasons he and Emma got along so well and fell in love….” Not just love, in love. It’s not just puppy love, or first love, according to Adam and Eddy they fell in love. And it hasn’t faded.
I could be totally off base here I just don’t understand the backlash against first love.
Also, let’s not forget that on the show, we have a clear example of first love as true love: Snow White and Prince Charming! Of course it’s possible for two people to fall in love a decade ago and still be in love today. Otherwise NO relationships would ever work out, because we’d need to get a new partner every decade. Of course, people grow, but the point is they either grow together or apart. In Emma’s case, she never outgrew or forgot Neal.

ParticipantWill someone gain a sister?
I think that question assumes an answer: YES, Regina’s going to gain a sister!

Awesome! I hope that reassures people who feared MRJ was leaving the show because of hate on Twitter . MRJ clearly enjoys his fans and says #Boom! to all the haters.

ParticipantRight, agreed……but I don’t think her goal is to destroy Gold……it’s to destroy Regina.
Exactly. The conflict is Wicked vs. Evil, not Wicked vs Dark One. I think the WWW controlling Rumple through his dagger is just a weapon against Regina. As far as we know, Rumple’s magic is even more powerful than Regina’s magic, so it’d make sense that the WWW would want to use Rumple against Regina to try to kill Henry, Regina’s son and therefore her weakness. Or perhaps the WWW would target Robin Hood, who is Reigna’s newfound soul mate.

ParticipantOne thing I really want for this season is a Baelfire/Nealcentric episode. I’d like to see him first arriving in our world after being in Neverland. I understand how Bae became the person he is today, but I’d love to see what made him choose the name Neal. I know we have gotten plenty of backstory of him as Baelfire, but I would like to see MJR play some of that part.
Nealfire is one and same person with his younger version, except that he’s been through more than any child should have to suffer. But I totally agree that I would LOVE to see Neal’s backstory after he arrived back in our world. As for how he chose the name Neal Cassidy, I like the idea he was influenced by the book “On the Road” whose character, Dean Moriarty, was based on real-life beatnik Neal Cassady.
What was he doing between Tallahasssee and Manhattan? We know he was living in NYC when he met Tamara just after Emma had broken the curse, but we know nothing else about his life during those other 10 years. According to a recent TV Guide Lightning Round Q&A with Adam and Eddy, we’re supposed to see more of this time period, and we’re supposed to see Eion Bailey again (probably in a flashback). So I think the chances are good that we’ll get to see more of Nealfire’s backstory towards the season finale.
I really want a big family reunion scene as well. I’m really disappointed that we haven’t see MRJ and Jared have many scenes together. Henry just found his father——I want Neal to be given the chance to show what an awesome father he can be.
We all do. That is why there had better be a good explanation for why Hook, and not Neal, is spending time with Henry. And that reason had better not be Hook is going to be Henry’s new stepfather! What a horrible quasi-stepfather Hook was and is to Baelfire! However, I think at the last moment, Hook is going to realize what a deadbeat dad figure he was to Neal and will atone by now trying to do right by him. Hook may even play a role in helping to reunite Neal with Emma and Henry.

ParticipantI like the idea Cora had a baby she gave up BEFORE the events of Miller’s daughter, but I don’t know. I could also see her having twins, and because the children are born green as a side effect of practicing magic while pregnant, ends up making a deal with Rumple who conveniently shows up with a solution. He was in the crowd at the presentation of the baby and we did get the idea they’d clashed more than that one time. So he forces her hand by making her give ONE baby to him, and he takes it away, in exchange that the other one will be perfectly normal in appearance.
Admittedly, the idea of twins popped into my head, too. Yet, ginger hair is recessive I think to brown hair, and Henry Sr. was Latino, as is Regina. So, I don’t think Regina and WWW share the same father; just he same mother. But hey, you never know. The casting department doesn’t always get it right (e.g. August doesn’t really resemeble young Pinocchio. Even if Pinocchio’s hair darkened with age, how do you explain his eyes going from brown to blue?). So, if the casting department doesn’t always think of genetics, then yes, I could see Regina and WWW being fraternal twins with the same parents. It would make life a lot simpler if Henry Sr. is the father of both WWW and Regina.
