ParticipantNow that WickedSisters is basically confirmed, I’m against Gorham being the Wizard of Oz because Cora’s daughter would have to be by Oz. I refuse to believe they are going to give Rumple another child, especially if the spoiler that shall not be named turns out to be Neal. If they kill Neal and then give Rumple a daughter by Cora, I’m going to *livid*
I really don’t think that is going to happen. Adam and Eddy aren’t going to kill off Rumple’s son in favor of a daughter. That would make Rumple’s sacrifice to save Neal in 3×11 completely in vain. This isn’t Sophie’s Choice; it’s a show that brings families together. Also, why must WWW’s father be Rumple or WOZ? That seems like a false dichotomy to me. Couldn’t her father just be a nameless, insignifiant person?

ParticipantAnyone else think the two older people are Dorothy and her husband? the woman is carrying a basket after all.
You never know! If the Charmings were just visiting the Gale family farm, then it could be! Maybe they’re playing the parents of Chris Gorhams’ character.
What’s the symbol on Gorham’s jacket? It’s small and red. It looks splotchy. Is it a star?
It’s a Canadian maple leaf….like the one on the Canadian flag.

ParticipantAnyway, I also wouldn’t mind WW being Cora’s sister, though they’d have to explain her lack of aging.
Perhaps time works different in Oz than it does in EF. Also, the original dark curse seems to have frozen all the lands, according to OUATinWL.

ParticipantYeah I hope so too. That’s why I thought up my little theory that Cora had a baby when she was still poor and working the mill, and she had to give the baby away because she couldn’t afford to look after it. Perfectly acceptable to believe that Regina would have never known about that.
Of all the possible scenarios to explain why Regina could have a half-sister, I like this one the best. If Cora is the mother of WWW, I hope the father is a nameless person and not Rumplestiltskin. It would completely undo the deal that Cora made with Rumple when she said any child of hers wouldn’t be his.
I actually think Cora’s attitude with Regina would fit if she was forced into giving up a child she had before Regina. Having lost the first one, she kept an iron clad grip on Regina so she wouldn’t lose her as well. It could also play into her lust for power and riches, because that way if she had another child, she wouldn’t have to give it up like the first one.
Yes, I could see that also being the groundwork for the current rivalry between Regina and WWW. Cora gave up her first daughter because she was a poor, unwed mother whereas she kept Regina and raised her to become queen one day. Regina was born noble and then became the most powerful woman in the Enchanted Forest with a place, a beautiful wardrobe and most importantly, real power. I could see the WWW being green with envy, which is why she has taken up residence in Regina’s castle in the EF and why she then unleashes a new curse to get back at Regina (who up until recently was oblivious to having a sister).

ParticipantActress Rose McGowan has signed on to reprise her role as the youthful version of the villainous Queen of Hearts.
Wow! Will Rose McGowan be appearing in OUAT the parent show, or in the spin-off OUATinWL? I’d heard Cora would be in WL which is why I’m now wondering which show she’ll appear on. If she does appear in OUAT then I’d say that further suggests the #WickedSisters theories. Cora and Rumple may have had “unfinished business” and Cora might’ve traded one of her daughters to Rumple, and that child then became the WWW.

That is what I think. I posted this a few pages back, but it kind of got buried. I’m reposting here: Christopher Gorham has been spotted in one of the leaked pics for 3×16! Remember this recent spoiler from TVGuide?
Christopher Gorham appears in that episode. What’s his connection to Emma?
Horowitz: Chris is an old friend. We worked with him onPopular a million years ago. We love him and we’re so excited that he agreed to come aboard.
Kitsis: We called him and said, “You need to do this for us.” He was great.
Horowitz: We love his character.
Kitsis: He’s an integral part of two characters’ lives.I think whoever Chris Gorham is playing (possibly the Wizard of Oz), he might be connected to Emma and Neal. The way Adam and Eddy raved about his character and specifically called upon their old pal, Chris Gorham, for the role (despite him being a star lead in another full-time show) means they really wanted him for something BIG. What if the two characters whom Chris Gorham’s character is integral to are Emma and Neal? He might’ve known each of them separately, and he might even play a hand in reuniting them (maybe). Chris Gorham was on set for 3×16 last night, and now tonight MRJ and JMo are filming tonight in studio (possibly together). I’m of the opinion that Swanfire aren’t only endgame but that they’re like Adam and Eddy’s children as their own creation.

ParticipantIn relationships too, sometimes there’s misunderstandings. Sometimes things happen (especially in a fairy tale world with curses and such) to force you apart. Emma’s still learning this lesson, which is why I feel so much that the story of her relationship to Neal isn’t simply about putting him behind her so she can find a new love with no mistakes or things to understand, because really that’s not going to happen either (wouldn’t be a good story if it did!). It’s about fixing a relationship that may have been broken but wasn’t a bad relationship in terms of how they treated each other. Neal loves her, tries to do right by her, give her confidence by letting her take the lead and watching her back, and he’s willing to listen to her. He loves her even if she’s shouting him at him. Maybe especially when, because he knows what to say to calm her down, to get them back on track. There’s a give and take here, and a rhythm that these two might find again, once Emma realizes she does deserve happiness even as the Savior.
Bravo! I want to hug this post! Real love isn’t just about romantic notions; it’s about learning how to forgive, communicate, reconcile and resolve issues. The first euphoric feelings of being in love fade after a time for all romantic couples, but what remains are deep friendship, trust, deep affection, mutual affirmation, and deepening love for one another and family. Those are the important things that keep a couple together. Neal is ready to make her and Henry a commitment and Emma will soon face the choice to be together. She has to take that leap of faith to look for the good moments and to have hope for her own happy ending.

ParticipantHere is my theory
I do think the WWW is related to someone and wants power. However, instead of being Maleficent’s sister, I think she is Regina’s sister. There was a spoiler that talked about the WWW having taken over Regina’s castle in the EF. Usually, sisters compete for thinks like power, boys, wardrobes. It makes sense. I do like your idea that Blackbeard and WWW are working together!
PS) Don’t forget to add spoiler guards 🙂
