ParticipantI think this is magical showdown, pt 1. The WWW gets the upper hand but then the heroes will retaliate somehow.
Yes, that seems the likeliest scenario to me.
Maybe Belle can true love’s kiss Rumple & it will break the Dark One powers. He will be “undone” & the dagger won’t work anymore.
I like that idea very much!

If Regina and Rumple are prisoners of the WWW, then someone else has to save them. And Emma and the Charmings seem to have been taken by surprise. So perhaps it really is up to an outside group to save the town. I like the idea that Chris Gorham is the Wizard of Oz, and he’s recruited Robin Hood, his merry men, Neal and some of the dwarves like Grumpy to go on a mission to defeat the WWW.

It would be straight up ludicrous for them to take the good kid who lost his family, then struggled for centuries, kept his brave heart despite everything he went through, and now has a shot at getting his happy ending…and killed him. It would make less than zero sense, and I just can’t see Adam and Eddy butchering a character like that when said character is 100% their own creation, which is rare for this show. I will honest to God be absolutely floored if Neal dies.
I’d be seriously shocked too! So, yes, I’m keeping the faith until I see concrete evidence! I also seriously wonder if the writers are building up the drama to make it appear like Neal could be the one to die, and then at the last moment, Hook sacrifices his life to save Neal. Now that would cause a commotion!

Also, I really like RG’s suggestion that Robin Hood and Neal have some sort of plan to save everyone in SB from the WWW! I really want to see Neal step into the role of being an undeniable hero (even though I already think he is).

ParticipantSo they’re not shooting today, right? Cause it’s some sort of Canadian holiday? I wonder if that means they’ll be working on 317 when they return? Maybe this is the big ending scene for 316–magical showdown.
I’m wondering who “won” that magical showdown and what the fallout would be. The WWW can’t be that easily defeated, because then we’d be left without a “big-bad” for the rest of the season. (And Blackbeard is only supposed to appear in 1 episode, so he can’t be the biggest baddy). So I wonder if the WWW is going to usurp power in SB and to capture Regina and continue to control Rumple with his dagger. Then the WWW would be the new ruler of the town and someone from outside the group is going to have to put up a fight. Probably Emma is the biggest candidate to save the town. However, it’s possible that Robin Hood and Neal are somewhere hatching a plan to save everyone. Just a thought!

ParticipantI think that would be one storyline that would make me reconsider this show. Because it would be so “you father is dead. I am you papa now.” and basically I would pitch a fit
If that were to happen, I would be so upset! Just thinking about it makes me upset! Hook is/was a terrible father figure! And what about Eddy Kitsis’ words? It’d be a total reversal of his statement from when Hook was first introduced in 2×4 as being a horrible father figure to Baelfire!
“I think what’s interesting is the love of Emma’s life last year was Henry and this year we actually met the one person that she has fallen in love with [Neal]. Hook is obviously eye candy. I don’t know if she would stare at him and think he would be a great father to Henry but he might be fun in Vegas.”
Are we really supped to believe that Hook has turned the corner and magically accepted commitment and fatherhood? Are we supposed to buy that Emma has entrusted her son, her true love, into the hands of a pirate?  Does Emma even know that Hook and Milha abandoned little Baelfire and then handed him over to the most murderous Lost Boys? That is why I question whether Hook has Emma’s blessing to be alone with Henry  on a “camping trip.” I feel there is something more nefarious going on there.
Is Baelfire, the boy who spent centuries feeling alone and abandoned in a cave, just going to die a horrible, miserable death without ever getting the family he ever dreamt of?! That would be the antithesis of a happy ending for him, his father, his child or Emma! If that happens, I’m seriously going to reconsider watching this show; it’d just be too heart-wrenching, and I wouldn’t be able to suspend my disbelief! Sorry, guys……I want to be strong. I’m going to endeavor to hang in there for all of the excellent reasons that Neal’s story isn’t done. I want to have faith, hope, and belief that people can be forgiven and that second chances are possible.

ParticipantThis one is absolutely adorable! It looks like the cover of a classic fairytale except that it’s the princess who awakens the sleeping prince. source
