With the introduction of Blackbeard, I think we’ll definitely be getting another Hook-centric episode. I seriously can’t help but wonder if it will be his final swan-song? Get it? Eh.
There is also a new spoiler. There is a new photo of the night-shoot which Jared and Colin were filming. Apparently, they were filming on a beach with a boat. Why would there be a boat and just the two of them filming? I think either they were going somewhere together or that they’re meeting someone on the beach. Either way, it sounds very peculiar. I can think of a couple of scenarios, some of which don’t reflect well on Hook.
- Hook is kidnapping Henry out of SB .
- Hook and Henry are meeting up with someone new, who is on the boat.
- PP somehow survived and took up residence again in Henry’s body, and Hook and PP are working together again (unlikely, I know).
- Or Hook and Henry could be star gazing and bonding on a beach when someone else in a boat washes up on shore.

Yesterday, Once Upon a Time came back to Storybrooke. The first scenes took place in the middle of the street and Jennifer, Ginnifer, Josh, Emilie, and Rose were a part of it. After that was finished, Jennifer Morrison and Emilie de Ravin came out to meet fans. It was my first time meeting Jennifer. Now Ginnifer is the only main cast member that I have yet to meet! 🙂
Later, Colin and Jared filmed together. I only stayed for rehearsals cause it was really cold out. They filmed on a beach with the boat in the last picture in the background
Why were Colin and Jared filming on a beach with a boat? Are Hook and Henry going somewhere? Were they waiting for someone to arrive?

maybe that flicker of light *looking at RG* is now a bigger light because the dark one is now a blinding light, not just a flicker… ok am I making any sense?
Makes sense to me! Baelfire, by the way, mean bonfire, which Rumple called, a “good strong name.” I think Rumple always admired his son and wanted him to be more than he was, a coward. Now that Rumple did the brave thing by sacrificing himself for Belle and Bae, he could become “good and strong” again now that the dark one curse has been lifted or “undone.”

I suspect that Blackbeard is his pirate name. Before he turned pirate he went by the name of Davy Jones

I’ve been thinking about the new spoiler that Blackbeard, a cut-throat pirate, is appearing in 1 episode. I think this will be a Hook-centric episode, and that it could possibly be the episode in which Hook dies. In 2×16, Cora met her final end in her character-centirc episode The Miller’s Daughter. It could be that Hook meets his final end in his final character-centic episode at the hands of this new dreaded pirate, Blackbeard. Also, perhaps we’re going to be led to believe Neal has “died” in 3×16, only for the true death of Hook to be revealed 3×17 or 3×18. This would be similar to S1 when we were mislead to believe August could be Bealfire in “The Return” only to discover he was really Pinocchio in “The Stranger.”

I was speculating maybe the Black Fairy isn’t a woman–they avoided using pronouns with the character, and although we generally think of fairies as women, they can be men. In Disney Fairies’s franchise, there are “sparrow men” who are fairies. In myths of fey there’s King Oberon of course (Shakespeare used him in Midsummer’s nights Dream).
That’s interesting. Aren’t we supposed to learn the origin of fairies sometime this season? Well, unless fairies hatch from eggs like dwarves or start out life as humans then become fairies, then there must be fairy men.

I was wondering the same thing: whether the introduction of this new pirate is meant to signal the end of Hook’s very survival. I could see it going 3 ways: (1) Blackbeard is Hook’s challenger and the one who’ll ultimately kill him (2) He’s Hook’s father and their story will impact the decision Hook makes with regards to his son-figure Neal and/or Henry (3) This new pirate is actually a sexy female pirate who is Hook’s true match in every way, because she accepts him as he is, flaws and all. She was sent to kill him but instead ends up falling in love with him.
